    Hello, this is Yaltta.
    We are now heading towards our final destination of this journey. It feels like our days in India passed by in the blink of an eye. From Varanasi to Goa, every moment was incredibly special and precious, and we won't forget any of them.
    Today, we want to share our subjective emotions and thoughts from our time in India. We hope this can be of some help to those who are planning to travel to India.
    Please keep in mind that these are entirely our personal views and feelings. We appreciate your understanding.
    Enjoy watching!

      Also, try to have sealed water bottle or filtered water as tap water is not recommended and even many Indians don't drink tap water directly...
      Hope you will come back again in India soon as there are many many unexplored places for you and even Goa will be different in non-monsoon season...
      you both are amazing❤
      I'm happy you are going back with happy memories😊

      Some of the things I want to say before recommending india.
      1. First visit kerala so you gain some experience then move all the way to kashmir then take flight from delhi. People do other way around go to delhi first get overwhelmed and move back to their own country. Most foreigners can't handle delhi
      2. You can live with $10 per day to $1000 per day. So plan your trip before coming ex: stays, transport, food etc. Ask any indian from SNS they will help you.
      3. India is large almost the size of europe. because of map projection it looks small. So going from one place to another takes time plan wisely.
      4. Always buy mineral water don't use tap water
      5. Keep your belongings close to you. Don't leave it someplace thinking it will be safe
      6. Indians don't use tissue paper. So buy from grocery store.
      7. Avoid planing to visit crowded cities.
      8. My recommendation -> Kerala --> Lakshadweep --> kodaikkanal --> Goa --> Himachal --> Kashmir --> Ladakh --> Delhi.
      You can add ooty, kadaikkanal, Mysore, udaipur, jaipur, mumbai inbetween.
      9. Andaman and nicobar is also india but it's closer from thailand than india.
      10. Maintain proper dress code in states other than goa.

    Honestly speaking, you guys are the first Korean travelers I saw on TH-cam who gave a more balanced, realistic picture about India. Most Korean travelers I saw come with some kind of expectation which when not met make their whole traveling experience in India miserable. To travel India and experience it, one needs endurance, patience, and truly an open mind.

I hope you visit if you can😊

    I love that you guys have an open mind and are receptive to new cultures. Most of the people who endup hating India on the first try do one of two mistakes from my observations. They either have really high expectations of the country here and end up disappointed or they try to adapt really fast and live here like a local which will make you miserable. Take small steps and adapt gradually. You will find yourself liking India and the multitude of cultures and quirks that it has to offer.

    I feel sorry that you got scammed in India and grateful for the positive review. As an Indian I have to say this: travelling alone is not safe in India (for both genders) and it's noisy. I agree. It is really difficult for other country people to adapt. But definitely there are great places in India to enjoy, wide varieties of cuisine to taste and can have a different experience with life here. Happy that both of you are able to overlook the stereotypes and enjoyed the trip. Thank you.

    You are good but you wife is a gem of a person..she has so much respect, understanding and patience about adapting or excepting other people culture and way of life..I'm from Varanasi people generally don't understand it unless they explore it's chaotic charm along with it's serinity...i can bet on you once you have know varanasi enough you won't find any peacful or spiritual city like it anywhere in the world but for that you need to know the right places & the right local food where to taste and right things to experience their other then just the touristy thing and chaotic steet....you will fall in love with varanasi..go there in the early morning before the sun rinses sit on the ghar and just see the rising sun believe me i hv been to many place hills beech etc and had nice sun rising view there but what you get to feel and see in varanasi seeing the rising sun above the holy ganges river the serenity is next level and the feeling is nothing less then divine and holy...varanasi is much more then what you saw on your Koran TV Show i have seen it but i can bet it did not justify varanasi's beauty and essense even 10% because it was more of a kind you no nothing about a city and want to experince all type program..

    Hygiene is a major draw back in street food as well as cheap roadside hotels in India. This aspect is all the more important for foreigners visiting India. Indians are more resistant to local conditions, but visitors have to be a little conscious of this aspect, even if the food appears very inviting❗️

    Pro tip while travelling to india - don't have the budget of a highschool student while going to India.
    Most of the vlogger who say negetive things about india come with ridiculously low budget. They go to slums and backalleys for some reason, they stay in 10$ hotels and don't use public transport or Taxi, Uber and then complaint endlessly as to why they're not having a good experience. 95% of times if you go to india with good budget and do proper research then you will be fine.

North East India which has people of mongoloid features , and south India which is completely different culture. There are few ancient beautiful architectures like ellora and ajanta art caves which will blow your mind how it was even made from a single mountain carved out in those times.

    Most foreigners I have met with had developed love or hate relationship with India either they visit more than twice or they will never step foot in the country but specially how much reserved nature east Asian have i think they would find India a very hard country to travel to because it's the people and culture of the country that makes it different from anywhere in the world and for that you need to be part of it.

    You guys might have lot of patience. Because for most foreigners, India is chaotic and harder to navigate. And with preconceived notion, bad experience like scams, higher foreigner specific charges, people start hating India. Only the gritty people are able to withstand the India experience. 5:53 Due to large population size, you will always have conversation with strangers in India and that's normal. I heard that in South Korea, people tend to avoid strangers. In that respect, both of you are unique. The best way to travel India is to not have any template in mind. Try to adapt based on situation and use some common sense. I see many foreigners try to do things in India which even Indians avoid and end up in a bad situation.

    • @yaltta
      @yaltta  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the kind comment. Experiencing a new culture in a different country is always fascinating for us. We were particularly impressed by how friendly and open-minded India is towards foreigners. While traveling, we might be misunderstood by locals due to our limited understanding of the culture, but we believe this is also a part of the journey to learn and understand more!
