Hi, so you've already received yours too. My unit of MK, three arrived yesterday. Very nice piece! I've been waiting so long for it! For me as a blind person, it's another big leap compared to the MK two. The accessibility for us blind people is amazing thanks to Softube! Then I bought it on sale at Universal Audio and now I have even more plugins to load into the new console. I!!!
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy Yes, I'm more than happy with it! The MK, two series was already awesome, but this tops everything for me! Now I hardly need to use Logic for a second compressor or equalizer. That changes a lot. Above all, it speeds up my workflow.
The knobs are not all the same black. They differ in shade (grey to black) to accentuate the different modules. Plus two red knobs, one for gain, one for volume. Print is all small, but it is a knob for function unit, so muscle memory will help, I think.
Interesting. I was torn between waiting on this and the SSL controllers, but decided to go with SSL because of the build quality, included stands, readability of the fonts and the sound of the plugins. This one comes in at a higher price point than the original. I agree the colour codes knobs would have been nice and that also influenced my decision. Overall, I do like Softube and have some of their plugins especially Amp Room. Their tech support is really responsive.
Hie guys , help me out here. i want to buy this thing but i really need to see just how it performs CPU usage wise, so i downloaded the "Console 1 Core Mixing Suite " Demo. I use fl studio , but i cant seem to find where it installed the plugin. Is this plugin hardware dependant?
You should be able to find it on your system. the plugin is not CPU heavy at all. If you have a computer than is less than 7 years old, you should be fine.
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy i got a reply, this is what they said " The Core Mixing Suite is an expansion for Console 1. It can only be used with the Console 1 system. ". I could have sworn i watched someones video on this product and heard them say that you can use the software without the hardware.

Got mine a week ago. Haven’t had time to use it yet but… I also got a $19 VCA compressor from Softube. That’s a great price. Big sale going on!!!
Congrats, have fun with it
Mine arrived in the mail a couple days ago from Sweetwater. So far I’m really enjoying the workflow. I’m looking forward to your take on it…
Videos coming soon

Will (can) you do a side-by-side comparison with the old and the new unit?
I no longer have the old unit so I can do that, sorry
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasyToo bad. I look forward to the new product review.
VESA and Rackmount seems to be the reason for the holes…
Thanks for the unbox video.
I‘m curious to see your hands on series
