    So it’s not normal for him to help her?! Early moments in the movie you see he cares about his people, you see of how much effort he was doing to bail his cousin.
    So….It’s normal for him help her, he felt guilty for implying her on his mess. He had to go back. Especially when she was trying to help him with a lot to loose, and got on to extra steps with her research. Same thing with the restaurant owner. He felt guilty they raided his restaurant when he was just trying to sort out the situation in the legal way. Those were mostly the moments he “lost his cool”, when he lost control of the situation and the people he asked favours and tried to help him got in trouble because of him.

  • @TraceyJean
    @TraceyJean 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +39

    I think what I liked most about the movie is they managed to do this revenge style movie about a veteran being wronged without everybody getting shot. I think this society has glorified violence so much that we have become desensitized to the death & gore.
    1. Female lead was trying to help his cousin so she earned some of his respect given how corrupt the town was.
    2. Her story of being a drug addict, losing her child, and fighting her way back completely earned his respect.
    3. It also made her a kind of substitute for the cousin he couldn't save, especially since he understood she couldn't leave town while her daughter lived there with her ex-husband who had full custody.

    • @fantasma8253
      @fantasma8253 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The main theme of the movie was de-escalation, since the very start he insisted on being non lethal and has a strong moral code about it. If you really think about it this is not revenge at all, survival is more accurate. Revenge is a choice, they had no choice but to fight back to clear their names or die trying because they were going to get killed anyway so why be a sitting duck and make it easy

Are you the black version of a human or are you just a human that happens to be black. WHAT THE FCK ABOUT THIS MOVIE MAKE YOU THINK THIS GUY IS THE BLACK REACHER? You put yourself in an inferior position then wonder why people treat black people the way they do. You don’t even have enough respect for yourself to be your own person and be original, you always have to be the black version of something good. I never heard of anyone saying chris Kyle who is a famous sniper the “white reaper”, reaper being another famous sniper who happens to be black. I turned this crap off after the first 10 minutes. This is clearly meant to anger black people before the election. There are so many nonsense plot devices just in the first 10 minutes. 1. The Cops say he was fleeing on his bike yet we know that because of the dashcam they could never get away with that lie in real life so that was the first whack part. 2. The Cops say they are going to essentially steal his money but in real life they could never get away with that because of the bodycam. This is just another movie playing up a social situation that is based on a lie. In real life we see what actually happens. Look no further than the Tyreek Hill situation. That is what we see 99% of the time, not how this guy behaves and acts. If black guys in real life behaved the way the hero acts in this movie there wouldn't be a problem in America but thats not what we see. I can't get behind this movie based on a lie designed to get blacks riled up about more nonsense. The way you guys respond in this reaction is exactly how they want us to respond. You all are acting like this is legit and that it actually happens but thats just playing into the setup. Its dissapointing.

      Literally every problem you have is addressed directly in the movie, which you'd know of you'd watched it.
      Not everything that has a sociopolitical element is propaganda.
      And to address your points:
      1) the hiding/exposure of the body and dash cam records is literally the central tension that the ENTIRE plot revolves around from the second act on. It's thoroughly addressed. Cops have ways to work around it, and the cops in this movie are no different.
      3) Yes they can. They literally explain how the seizure of the money is legal, or can easily be twisted to be so. Should it be? No. But not all laws are just.
