Technically superb movie with a rocking Alia Bhatt and Manoj Pahwa. The bgm was outstanding and so was the camerawork but that's it. Logic goes out for a toss and some sequences are simply outlandish.
I agree, the technical aspects were top-notch! Alia and Manoj Pahwa were incredible, but yeah, some of the sequences felt a bit over the top. Do you think those outlandish moments took away from the overall experience for you?
Why are there more negative reviews than positive ones like this loved the film and ur video...❤❤❤ Talking about my only gripe with film would be maybe would have loved the some context on her dads suicide.. But other than that from immaculate cinematography , to realistic dailogues to masterful use of background score loved it, specially the emotional aspect of movie really tugs at ur heart strings..
So glad you loved the video and the film! Totally feel you on wanting more context about her dad’s suicide, it did feel like they could’ve explored that deeper. But yeah, the cinematography and the emotional pull really hit hard. That score… just wow. Do you think more backstory would’ve made it even better, or was it just enough for you to connect?
I get what you’re saying! “Masterpiece” is definitely a big word, and it’s easy to overuse. I think for me, it was just the way Jigra pulled everything together so powerfully, but I totally respect that others might feel differently. What did you think about the cinematography or the performances?
All the characters in the movie are each other's villains . Thats the beauty of this . For Landa Ankur and Satya are villains . For Satya adopted father and Landa were villains . I think only true villain would be Kabir but satya warned Ankur of kabir . Ankur still went ahead with kabir . So Ankur was his own villain . What I like the most is that movie questions morality of characters especially satya . She was willing to risk security of a nation for her brother and her actions are jsutified due to her traumatic past . Another interesting plot point to explore could have been what if ankur and kabir changed places and kabir got arrested due to ankur's fault . Would satya still support her brother ? The movie has so many interesting plot points but is let down by the rush to get into jailbreak action .
Glad to hear it had such a strong impact on you! It’s definitely a film that doesn’t hold back, and that rawness might not be for everyone. Sometimes the most straightforward stories hit the hardest, right? What moment from Jigra moved you the most?
Fair point! Sometimes those little flaws and mistakes can take you out of the experience. What do you think could’ve been done better to make it more engaging for you?
Totally understand where you’re coming from, everyone has different tastes! What specifically didn’t work for you in Jigra? Would love to hear your thoughts!

It is a very good movie but calling it a 'Masterpiece' is an exaggeration. People are overusing that word now a days.
