I think if Varun chooses his films properly, he can make it big too. He has proven that he definitely can actually, it's just that majority of films he does, he plays almost the same character which REQUIRES OVERACTING. Like how Kareena did films in early years but now you can see that she can very well do multiple kinds of roles too.
The movie keeps paying small tributes to Amitabh Bachchan from time to time. Such a sweet coincidence that film got released on Big B's birthday. 11th October.
@@TriedRefusedProductions I don't think karan johar wanted devara and jigra to get clashed around the same time. Dharma definitely knew what they were doing with both not releasing it close to devara and releasing it on Amitabh Bachchan's birthday.
The rajini movie with amitabh also released today for Amitabh ....it's also good ..has Fahad fazil story is good as well.much better than master and jailer
I feel Alia has the same pitch in every movie. Her dialogue delivery and tone feels the same in all these author backed portrayals. She does it with conviction- yes coz she is good but it feels all the same in all her movies except for maybe Razi. She only has one pitch - the no nonsense pitch. It’s not layered.
Agreed... Only saving grace is that its not some mediocre regurgitation of an old film or "remake" as they call it. Or another romance with a cheap preachy message at the end . We used to be the torchbearers of good cinema, the mediocrity that is bollywood today is, frankly, an insult I do appreciate the female led films though, at least the actresses are getting an actual chance to show their versatility rather than being reduced to a damsel in distress in every other film.
The point in the film where she doesn't care what's right what's wrong she just wants her brother out of there nd i liked that because we usually see ki ese time pe the charcter is either completely good or completely bad she is evil as well when it comes to her brother i think that was exceptional
That's not exceptional. Have you ever seen a rich dad blaming his spoilt son/daughter for fatal accidents. Everyone cares about their family no matter it's right or wrong.
I’ve been following your channel since it started and have always appreciated your views, as they often align with mine. However, I’ve noticed that when reviewing Dharma products, there seems to be some bias. Your review of Jigara definitely needs to be included in your next ‘Kuch Bhi’ episode-it’s the most biased review I’ve seen, and it’s hard not to connect it to the fact that Alia gave you a big interview. Jammy, I urge you to stay transparent. I remember you promised Anu that you’d never cave to peer pressure or accept paid reviews. I hope you’ll stick to your word. That said, you’re doing well otherwise-keep up the good work!

the first time i don't agree with your review. It felt like a bit of a drag in the mid. They could have explored more into the political instability and rebel angle rather than being an all out Alia led effort. . Its one of those movies you watch in a theatre then regret rather should have waited it out for netflix release

'Par maine kabhi nahi kaha ki mai sahi hoon. Mai sirf Ankur ki behen hoon' This line in trailer doesn't hit as hard as you hear it while you watch the film! Vasan Bala is an absolute madman! That jaw dropping climax 🔥❤️👏🏻
Nah. This movie didn't work out for me. I found it slow in places and was testing my patience level as well in a lot of scenes. Could have been better.
I definitely agree with the sentiment of the slow motion set pieces being matched with the music slightly disconnected me. Felt like the rescue mission could have been more exhilarating and better staged. Good holistically for me nonetheless
@@TriedRefusedProductions Everyone has their own choice. I felt the pace could have been increased. Too much time was wasted according to me in building up the story. This could have honestly been executed in Extraction way. Maybe this movie should have been directed by an action director like the one who made KILL.
The thing that saddens me is that when a film has a positive review it’s said to be paid or the actors PR but when the film has negative reviews it’s honest and the truth. This is the case for Jigra.
this will keep on happening. If the intention of the channel is to speak about the quality of films only, then lets try and build that atmosphere vs paying heed to the noise
@@TriedRefusedProductionsVery true! I feel most of the negative comments here are targeted by haters of Karan & Alia. Aka - The typical - #boycottbollywood gang. They will pass personal comments against you (Deepika, Deepika AAP leti ho) types. Pls ignore them. Their intention is not to “review movie” They just HATE. That sub completely changed my views from 'alia is over rated' to 'alia is over hated' lol
The movie is so slow and frustrating that my patience ran out and i had to leave the theater after 1.5 hour into the movie to maintain my sanity. The story barely moves. Entire first half could be packed into just 10 mins and then unleash the non-stop fast pace action. Stupid double plans and forced emotional scenes ruined the entire experience.
Without a doubt ever since he collaborated with Film Companion. He will somehow put a long detailed review for movies like Pathaan and Jigra to somehow bring out some positive points and HIGHLIGHT them to such an extent that people will think these are masterpiece movies!! One of the most boring, illogical, nonsense movie with tedious and dull acting!!
I don't exactly understand it though. If a critic likes a movie the others didn't, it's PR? I mean I watched Jigra and it wasn't bad. It's definitely not more than a one time watch and there are parts that definitely could've been done better. But it's not nearly as bad most people are saying it is(atleast in my personal opinion). But why are we assuming he's part of the PR just because he perhaps didn't hate or dislike a movie that's a certain section did? Isn't that rather presumptuous of us?
@@anamikakhan593 lol it was evident from the video that Jimmy didn’t like the movie but he was trying hard to not call it out just because he took the interview of the cast of Jigra and was trying hard to fool his audience. Man just look at his other reviews and how he is now fiercely defending every criticism Jigra has got by suffixing it with with a 'but' and adding some opinion arising out of his personal devotion to certain actor. Why actresses like Sharvari, Radhika Madan etc don't get such roles?? Because of the advantage she gets as a nepokid , she is a successful actress. She is a goof actor but itna nhi jitna isko dikhaya jata hai.
Alia bhatt made some good use of the opportunities provided to her with scripts which were better then what's normally given to rest of actresses.Being daughter of Mahesh Bhatt helps but kjo gang is also obsessed with her like they with fawad Khan for no good reason. Sharvari, radhika madam etc all come from privelaged rich families & actually have a cushion to fall back into if their career is not going much after being a bit negetively affected by all of this industry favouritism. American viewer. Wasn’t sure about this one *as much as I was craving for an empowered female* led film, but thank you for this thorough review. It’s on my list now.
Jigra disappointed me. After the hype I expected much better. I get that you are big fan of Alia’s but dude film felt like a posh version of Savi. Screenplay lacking depth. Film tried too hard to be profound but comes off as pretentious with forced emotional beats and shallow characters. The film feels like an empty shell which is visually polished but completely devoid of soul. It's a hollow, uninspired attempt at storytelling. Alia doesn't really create a big impact looks like a film made for her to win some award and Indie cred. Vedang, forgettable.
this is one of the most important comment in this video. Though you were just exercising your right to your freedom of speak your mind on an film,I still thank for articulating it so well which I might find some time to write despite having the exact same thoughts on it..unlike many others here you have substance in you to reject mediocrity & bad "product" that they gave infront of us.. Good to come across u(despite not having any idea about you by the way😬😁)
Because people are attacking this film for np reason. It is a well made film with great cinematography and performance. It's a shame that the film is doing badly. It didn't have any unnecessary things like comedy, nudity, etc. The editing was crisp and the story kept us hooked till the very end.
It’s disappointing to see critics like Jammy and Sucharita appear to be influenced by the opportunity to meet and interview stars. Over time, their reviews have become less critical, leading to a perception that they lack the objectivity we expect from professional critics. This shift not only raises questions about their integrity but also impacts the audience's trust in their assessments of films. It’s essential for critics to maintain a balance between their professional relationships and their duty to provide honest evaluations. Alas
He spent like four minutes, telling us how this movie is very original , I have never seen him try this hard for anything. Absolutely ridiculous. I hope he reads this and learns for future. We are not idiots to follow his channel and praise him, he cannot make a fool out of us.
True. Most things and people can be bought at a price in our country. Either with money or a chance at fame or anything they hold as valuable. Jammy is one person I thought would not get sold - but everything has a price. And integrity goes to the highest bidder.
To larger extent I don't think he is sold. he is indeed influenced and i think he doesn't even know it and it's not a bad thing. Maybe after meeting w them he feels a little familiarity w them and I think he was also rooting for this movie that's y most it felt like him convincing us it's good rather than just being a critic like he always is
I liked the movie, nothing more re. You're reading far too much into it especially if you see the countless examples of me not liking a film despite my interactions with the cast.
If we talk about brother -sister movies then there is none and never will be another one like Sarabjit , I wonder why this movie is not celebrated the way it should be and also I would love to see that the tv channels play Sarabjit every Rakshabandhan.I want to see so much more of Randeep Hooda

I was so scared that this might not be as good as the trailer, like how we see with recent movies and even Joker 2. But your reviews always put my mind at ease and now I can’t wait to watch this delight in theatres!!!
Many people calling this movie boring cause its not their typical Bollywood movie. Now I feel like its not the studios fault they make rubbish movies with nonsense dance numbers, its just our audience has not come out of the masala movie trap.
Jigra failing to rake the money simply re-establishes the fact that the Indian audience still has miles ahead to go in terms of its movie taste! It's not everyday that we get to see good movies with strong acting but what can one do when the audience likes movies like Vicky aur Vidya ka.... (The name is too long to even type let alone speak) and Martin! Unfortunately it is not the first time and it won't certainly be the last time Indian audience has let a good movie down. Swadesh, Wake up Sid, Death in the Gunj and countless movies were ignored as trash when they were released only for us to realise that they were such path breaking movies.
Following you from 2019, watched so many movies in theaters because of your reviews, it's sad to see you now doing paid reviews instead of keeping that unbiased & authentic honest reviews you used to do.
Alia is an exceptional actor. But am i the only one who feels that there is no to little evolution in her dialogue delivery from Gangubai... Because some dialogues felt like ,forcefully trying to out the strong woman sense by the way she delibered it.. which doesnt have to be. Like said Stong character that happen to be female , diesnt always have to be that upfront potral of how a strong woman should be. I am sirprised how Jammy didnt noticed that.
You are the one who criticized merry christmas for testing ur patience n slow pased but loved this (very predictable tale) being slow paced n calling it masterpiece, shows ur biaseness.
The initial reviews out there idk why call it boring. Just because it does not have item songs or masala and comedy does not mean it's not thrilling. I was literally at the edge of my seat. Manoj pahwa finally got to show his acting chops 🤌🏻😭😭. The movie buff in me had a moviegasm and I will watch this on the screen again
Not many but in general it is engraved in our minds that females and action oh impossible but heroes with machine guns, throwing 200kg bullets is easy and doable. If it was Salman saving his brother movie would be best according to a few. Am not doing male-female drama just mentioning how people in our country think
Janhvi and Sara should learn from Alia that strong film choices are not enough, and that they don't need to do just the bare minimum, and rather get into the skin of the character. The reason why is because both of their films were horribly received because they weren't trying enough.
Yes. If someone is into art, they should try their best. Not everyone gets to do this. People spend 12 hrs writing documents about boring stuff, so movie artists not being interested in films and their characters shd leave the industry. It's not on audience to make u a star. I don't personally connect to Vedang Raina as an actor. Just his face gives the vibe of an uber rich South Bombay brat who is doing movies as a hobby. Compare that with someone like Rajkumar, Sushant or even Ayushmann Khurrana.. there you see that sincerity and groundedness.
I know the director has taken responsibility for Jigra's failure but I think it's the people responsible for the promotions that failed. Instead of the sibling bond between Alia and Vedang, or even Alia's sister who sang a song for this movie, they kept going on and on about Raha. I know star babies are hot topics and grab eyeballs but if people forget the entire purpose of the interview, which is promoting the movie, then what's the point? Almost every clip I've come across has been Alia talking sbout Raha in interviews that were meant to promote the movie. If this was the director's call then maybe he IS responsible for the movie's failure. I'll judge the movie when I see it. Been looking forward to it because of the genre and setting (love China-based movies). Alia's acting is kinda predictable because her dialogue delivery tends to remain the same, except maybe in Gangubai. Don't know anything about Vedang so hope he does well.
I genuinely like your content, but we all follow your content because we believe you give authentic reviews, based on your understanding of course. You’re comparing Apples with Apricots. Those movies you can get away with Honest reviews, not with Jigra. Alia is KJo’s Baby. Also, check the reviews online. Jigra is dead in water with 2 star reviews. And here Jammy thinks this movie is Better than Godfather.

@flyingqantas "better than godfather" now you're just exaggerating. i remember him giving bad reviews to that god awful movie sadak and brahamastra too there are many movies that people didn't like but jammy appreciated them. I would say rein in the alia hate.
Alia is a great actor. No two ways about it. She is way above Shraddha Kapoor in acting. Shraddha Kapoor is a very sweet, humble and nice person. I like her a lot too. But truth is truth. Alia is a much better actor. She may be getting opportunities easily and better scripts easily but Shraddha is not able to act as good in the scripts she gets. It's just out there so clear. And also most people who is calling his review sold out has come here is criticise the movie irrespective of the movie just because its an Alia Bhatt film.
Shraddha has mass appeal and Alia can never reach. Alia is not as great as she is made out to be either ..she is mediocre gets good scripts and does decent. PR is hired to praise her acting and awards are bought for hwe. That’s a privilege till date no nepo kids have had.
@@Besties591 I agree with you about alia's privileges and the immense help that she gets from the industry. But to say that she is worse than shraddha in terms of acting is not only untrue but also extremely delusional. Alia has acted out brilliantly in some good roles in movies like Raazi, highway, udta Punjab, darlings, gangubai etc. Shraddha on the other hand pulled off a very mediocre performance in stree where she was out acted by almost every other co actor and a below mediocre performance in haseena Parker. Both roles had the potential for her to prove her skills but she is only popular because of her 'pretty privilege' and her so called 'sweetness' and charm which appeals adolescent boys lol. I am sorry but i gotta say this at the risk being trolled and bashed because femenist bashing is a real thing in this country. Replace alia bhatt with srk or hrithik roshan and this would have been a hit. This industry has been actively killing female centric films unless it is a comedy maybe like Crew with no depth. Or stree which is lets be honest not a sharddha kapoor film. Unless men are frothing at their mouth over an item number its not working for them. This movie was not bad. And it was a breath of fresh air what what we are watching. The last female centric serious film that worled was manikarnika. Kangana is a motor mouth but lets give her this piece of opinion. Did not like the movie. Felt a bit cheated that Jammy said he liked it. It was slow, illogical, unrealistic and irritating. Maybe it's better for Jammy not to review the movie if he has interviewed the cast.
There are multiple Jammy’s videos which i don’t like but after watching Jigra i could sadly say Jammy choose money over his honest opinion. I didn’t knew anything about behind the scene story/conflict and yet couldn’t for once root for the lead. She had the love for his brother and drive to rescue him but not for one second she did anything meaningful to the means. She was just “too confident” and “too strong”. People around her did everything and things just falls in place.

Absolutely agree! It's such a great time for Alia Bhatt-her film choices are consistently impressive. After seeing the 'Singham Again' trailer, I felt a bit let down by Deepika’s choices, but Alia just keeps knocking it out of the park. From 'Gangubai' to 'Darlings' and now 'Jigra,' she’s truly the Indian superstar of the moment. I love how she backed such an unconventional story; it really moved me. I actually cried in the theater! Excited to see what she does next!
@@dhyeychandarana21 Yes, but with Deepika it seems like a bit of a pattern to me, with Pathan, then Jawan, then Fighter. JIGRA - My Top 10 Reasons I Didn’t Like It 1. Too Slow: The movie is slow, and the main story-that Alia will save her brother no matter what-is clear within the first 30 minutes. 2. No Emotional Connection: There’s no real emotional connection between the characters. The father’s death felt random, and we don’t know if she had a troubled childhood. 3. Weak Sibling Bond: The relationship between Alia and her brother isn’t well-developed. They just play basketball together. In comparison, Ranbir’s love for his sisters is much clearer in Animal. 4. Confusing Start: Alia works for the family as a maid, but it’s unclear why. The opening party scene makes no sense, and suddenly she’s flying in a private jet to another country. If the family doesn’t care about her, why does she get 2 crores and a private jet? 5. Weak Supporting Cast: The supporting cast, including the jailer and Manoj Bawa, was not impressive. Manoj’s character, who is supposed to be a retired gangster, felt more like a joke. A stronger actor like Vijay Raaz was needed. 6. Fictitious Country: The foreign country shown didn’t feel real. It’s confusing if they meant it to be Singapore, but there were random dragon pictures, and in the end, Malaysian police show up. That was annoying. 7. Poor Jail Scenes: The friendship between the inmates wasn’t well-developed. Suddenly, there’s a police officer in love with an inmate, was it required? 8. Unnecessary Remix: The remix of the famous Dev Anand/Zeenat song was added but it doesn’t enhance the experience. 9. Alia’s Performance: I find Alia’s performance average. With a weak screenplay, she couldn’t carry the movie on her own. 10. Unrealistic Climax: The climax felt unrealistic. Alia didn’t do any action scenes like Katrina or Deepika. She still seems too young for such roles.
Have u seen that from ur jigra interview some PR's cut that particular scene where kjo talked about that he sent the script direct to Alia now those PR teams are circulating that this movie was originally written for Kat but Kjo snatched the role and gave it to Alia😂😂 now I am wondering how would the movie looked like with expressionless Katrina
There is no denying that kjo immediately passed this film to Alia...so the point remains the same... whether the film was written for kat or not but Alia is in it because of her daddy karan
@@UnnatiMaurya-nq4fk For argument's sake lets agree it was written fir Katrina do you think Katrina would have looked like Vedang's sibling?! I can't imagine Katrina and Vedang being siblings!
One drawback that I felt was that certain subplots introduced in the exposition itself were left unexplored and got somewhere lost in the screenplay. Like Alia being introduced as a person who would not spare anyone who caused harm to her brother, but doing nothing against Kabir who framed ankur in the drug case. Also it was a little caricaturish to see the major part of the police force just chasing the three inmates escaping while 6000 of the convicts were breaking out of the jail as well. P.S. the standout performer had to be Manoj pawa sir in the supporting cast who lent a perfect balance of humour, emotion and the conviction required for his character. A great movie to watch this weekend!
Talk about being a fraud and being conscious of it. Alia is the only player in the field, love her or hate her, you have no other choice. Her mentor is gatekeeping not to allow other more talented and capable players completely out of the field. Favoritism at its best.
How is Alia the only player in the field?! Last time I checked Dharmatic Entertainment has brought Tripti Dimri on board. Deepika Padukone has starred in all the multi star cast big blockbuster movies last year and this year. Hard truth- Alia Bhatt knows how to act and act well and she knows her strengths too well and chooses accordingly!
Ikr. I have no problem if she makes film after film and does well in all of them and garners authentic praise. But the consistent effort to gatekeep and push out other talent is atrocious and shows that she doesn't play fair and isn't secure in her abilities and craft.
@@seemonjena659 Everyone knows what Tripti is used for after the release of Animal. Will you ever find Karan recommending Kriti Sanon to all those directors that come to him as much as he pushes Alia? That's called partiality, deal with it. Alia is not a bad actor, but there are far more talented actors than her who don't get all the opportunities like she does due to her mentor's power and influence. And no, she doesn't excel in everything she chooses. In 2 states, she looked horrible as a South Indian, her Tamil accent was pathetic. Still she was the only choice, obviously due to the production house that made the movie. Vidya Balan or Tabu suited the role of Gangubhai, she looked exactly like a school kid in Grandma's costume in fancy dress competitions. If you want to put her in the league of Daniel Day Lewis, you are entitled to your own opinion, but that's not a hard fact.
How low can you go mate, people put their trust in your unbiased review. Unfortunately you failed to deliver. But, we understand, you also need to get paid.
The first two "underwhelming aspects" sound like big pluses for me lol Authenticity to the location and language: Yes, please. Hate when things are dumbed down for Indian audiences. Points to Vasan Bala for that. And no massy moments? Thank you! lol That stuff is uber cringe. The only time I've seen "mass" work well was in Aavesham, where it is executed well and has a bit of self awareness. Looking forward to watching Jigra.
If she acted well and the movie turns out to be a flop, she still deserve the praises for doing her part right. She hasn't just acted but produced the movie partially. It's more loss for her than usual.
@@sergemerto256 Since you are talking about performance being top notch , then let me remind you about Mrunal Thakur she has given the top notch performance in Sita raman , hi papa , but no one talk about that because she is not being highlighted or discussed.
Alia's best performance hands down. ❤️ If Nepotism gives us Alia, then I deeply love NEPOTISM. One of the best actresses of this generation. I remembered Arshad Warsi saying, "When Ranbir and Alia act in a film, it doesn't feel like acting and that's the beauty of it."
Ranbir kapoor and Alia bhatt are promoted by too many youtubers because they are a product of nepotism. Just compare Alia with other actresses like Kangana, Priyanka etc. Now compare Ranbir with Ranveer. Ranbir has limited range as an actor and a little different role like Animal is promoted as if he is the best actor the universe has ever seen😂. While on the ither hand, Ranveer Singh's acting prowess and range is better than SRK, Aamir, Ajay, Akshay, Ranbir, Varun etc. But he is being drowned by the bigwigs of bollywood because he is not from this industry. The roles that Ranveer has played Ranbir cannot even dream about. For example, Alauddin Khilji, Bajirao, Simba etc.
Absolutely agree with your comment... Alia isn't that great actor as she has been promoted by bollywood mafia Karan Johar from initial years of her career. Most of her movies are of Dharma productions... Her range as an actor is limited; see Kangana, Priyanka, Tabu , Konkana and many more they are brilliant but not supported and promoted by any respective groups. From day one Karan Johar is obsessed with Alia and trying very hard to prove her number one actress of her generation. She is a mediocre actress and that's it!! She is not even in the league of actors like Tabu, Kangana, Priyanka, Konkana. And same goes for Ranbir Kapoor, his acting range is also limited either he will play fun loving boy who wants something from life and at the end falls in love with the heroine/ already love her heroine or will play a sad man . He can only emote these two emotions and nothing else whereas Ranveer Singh has proved himself from his very film and has range as an actor whether it is his first movie BBB , Bajirao, Padmavat, Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do, Ram Leela. Ranveer Singh can act better in movies that Ranbir Kapoor has done but Ranbir Kapoor cannot do justice to the roles which Ranveer Singh has done. It is just that Ranbir Kapoor has made crazy fanbase from his very first movie due to his good looks, medicore acting, his surname and his limited public appearances whereas Ranveer Singh despite giving good performance in his first film was criticised for his looks , many media houses mocked him for his looks but with time he proved himself. It is only that in recent time he is more focused on public appearances and exposing himself way too much on social media. Eagerly waiting for his brilliant performance though he was good in RRPK but expecting more from him.
I just watched it. I personally loved it and Alias acting was phenomenal. Loved that it was a film you can watch with the family too. Hats off to Vasan Bala and Alia Bhatt❤❤
The script was weak and the back stories should have been better explored. But I have to say Vedang really tried in whatever little he was given. The scenes of him being beaten in prison was so difficult to watch, it made me almost cry. He emoted well considering the quality of dialogue and script.
Just watched , i really loved the movie. Tenu Sang rakhna is a go to cry song now. Alia once again proved her range and they didn't take audience for granted anywhere and showcased a close to realistic jailbreak. ❤❤
i thought it would be a good film but it felt like a dis connected thing rather a cohesive screem play , the jailer charcther was one of the worst written charcters in recent times , really it was dumb as fuck when they told that they doesn't have a plan on how to hide after going out when i thought the film going to be good it dropped into a classical bollywood flick rather than something that would be a better logically connected film
I have mentioned the same about Vivek Gombar's character. Very very poorly written. Could have been explored in a much better manner in context to his association with the country
Alia was trying too hard in that opening scene. Watch it on mute and you’ll notice how fidgety she is. Plus her dialogue delivery is still so much in her Gangubai character.
Alia Bhatt cannot change her tone now can she?! In Gangubai Kathiawadi she was asked by SLB to make her tone heavier because the character she played demanded so. If you want a good example of Alia Bhatt being a good voice modulator and great picked of different accents- watch Udta Punjab where Alia plays a Bihari migrant labourer aspiring to be a hockey player!
@@TriedRefusedProductions Alia k pyaar me andha hogaya hai yeh. I was watching jigra but it felt like watching Gangubai and mujhe ghar jana hai meme. Nothing was good about the film. Dont watch, time waste 👎
Fun fact: Gumrah has Soni Razdan(Alia Bhatt's mother in real life) playing the role of an inmate who is on death row. Interestingly, she had a brother in that film as well, who was also on death row.

This is because Sid is an average actor, and Varun did some mediocre movies in his first decade.
I think she is definitely the strongest of the three.
Varun was hitting his prime in 2014-2016 but idk why his wave didn't become much larger

Had they thrown katrina kaif or deepika padukon in a bikini to dance maybe ho jata hit.
So who stopped women from going and watching this movie in huge numbers and turning it into a super hit? Why are feminists expecting men to make their movies successful?
True. Any movie with female leads is labelled as a "feminist movie" it is around
Then what's stopping women from supporting female lead movies? The answer is simple.
Even women generally don't like this "strong female lead" movies.

JIGRA - My Top 10 Reasons I Didn’t Like It
It is not like before, now we can’t trust your review anymore

There is no denying that kjo immediately passed this film to Alia...so the point remains the same... whether the film was written for kat or not but Alia is in it because of her daddy karan
@@UnnatiMaurya-nq4fk ok kat ki beti
Obviously YOU WILL LIKE IT JAMMY. You don't have an option. We knew before the movie released!
Talk about being a fraud and being conscious of it. Alia is the only player in the field, love her or hate her, you have no other choice. Her mentor is gatekeeping not to allow other more talented and capable players completely out of the field. Favoritism at its best.
finally someone sensible
@@vinishap222 Honestly, it's not even her fault. She is just a pawn in the bigger scheme of power play that her mentor operates.

Alia's best performance hands down. ❤️
If Nepotism gives us Alia, then I deeply love NEPOTISM.
Absolutely agree

The script was weak and the back stories should have been better explored. But I have to say Vedang really tried in whatever little he was given. The scenes of him being beaten in prison was so difficult to watch, it made me almost cry. He emoted well considering the quality of dialogue and script.

Just watched , i really loved the movie. Tenu Sang rakhna is a go to cry song now. Alia once again proved her range and they didn't take audience for granted anywhere and showcased a close to realistic jailbreak. ❤❤
i thought it would be a good film but it felt like a dis connected thing rather a cohesive screem play , the jailer charcther was one of the worst written charcters in recent times , really it was dumb as fuck when they told that they doesn't have a plan on how to hide after going out
when i thought the film going to be good it dropped into a classical bollywood flick rather than something that would be a better logically connected film
I have mentioned the same about Vivek Gombar's character. Very very poorly written. Could have been explored in a much better manner in context to his association with the country
It drops more and more as it goes forward and forward
Alia was trying too hard in that opening scene. Watch it on mute and you’ll notice how fidgety she is. Plus her dialogue delivery is still so much in her Gangubai character.
Yes. dialog delivery is always screaming...but everyone seems she s such a good actor
This assessment is from the trailer. The review is based on the film. She is objectively great in the film
Alia Bhatt cannot change her tone now can she?! In Gangubai Kathiawadi she was asked by SLB to make her tone heavier because the character she played demanded so.
