Thank you for your post. Discussing mental health is SO important! We need an open dialog so that getting help is normalized. We need to remove the shame. Just yesterday, I also reached out to start talk therapy and had an appointment with my "meds doc" and we increased one of my meds. Thank you for helping to stop the stigma! ❤
Thank you for sharing. And, thank you for caring. Your video hit me right in the "feels". I'm recently separated, alone, missing my kiddos, and getting a major case of the Western New York 'winter blues'. The kind words that you spoke, did help put a smile on my face, if only for a few moments. Keep up the great content, I definitely do look forward to seeing you and hearing about your adventures. THANK YOU!!
Thank you for sharing your heart and being vulnerable. Yes, I am fan on other channels, but it’s the “you” that people love. You are loved. Thank you for being this brave. ❤
Thank you for sharing this. I also struggle with OCD, depression & anxiety. It’s a struggle every day! I just started Lexapro last week. I’m hoping it will help. I hope things get better for you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Shug’s 🎉take it easy, you’re just had surgery, it takes a long time to get over that physically and mentally. You are doing great, have confidence in yourself. Tony ❤🇬🇧xx
Thanks for this, Shug, I love you so much, you're so important and sweet and fun and beautiful, inside and out, and I promise I'm not going anywhere, I'll be right here for you when you're less than fun, but thanks for being honest, and actually showing that side of you. Sometimes from people on social media, it's easy to forget that things don't always smell like 🌹, sometimes they smell like 💩, and it's just as important to remember that, as long as we remember that those feelings are temporary, we have a chance to remedy them. So, I'm really proud of you for having the presence of mind to call out for help when you felt like you needed it, and still, in the midst of all of your stuff, taking a moment to check up on us ❤.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful and kind response Dan... This time of year (if you live somewhere where it gets cold and snowy) can be so hard for people. Isolating and hiding away can be tempting, but community really helps to keep me centered. And I feel like sharing the good and the bad to show people that it's OK to be a human and to go through rough patches! Thanks again for your support, and for being here ❤️
I'm glad you are doing one streamline shot, also makes uploading easier. Basically how I shoot my videos as well. Also, as a fan, we get to see the real you. 😊 I don't blame you for not uploading as frequently, keep it up. I miss seeing you. I'm glad you are feeling better, you look better, and sound better. You look good and healthy. Mutual feelings though on mental health. I'm a suicide survivor unfortunately, but proud. Either way, It's just good to see ya. Before I go, I have been jamming out to the following bands, Go Go's, Heart, and Patty Smyth. Thanks for today's video and congrats on the new cam setup. I'm Diggin' it. ❤😃
It felt weird to limit my editing but it also made it easier for me to get my message out. Sometimes I ramble and sometimes I get too caught up in editing. Dont get my wrong, its fun (the editing), but sometimes the message is more important!! And thank you for the kind words... Also, I am so glad your attempt failed... Otherwise I wouldn't have the pleasure of having this interaction ❤️ I need to listen to some music - sometimes when I am down, I just simmer in silence. Music always lightens my mood and I forget to use it to help me out, so thank you for that!!!
@@shugah_boogah Oh I know right? I'm a busy father of 2 kids under 3. I have very little time for editing too haha. Not to mention, less stress is one of the key components. I know the editing is fun, but you should do what you want to do. At the end of the day this your channel, it's just awesome to see you do a one shot, one take. I wouldn't mind at all to see more. Again, you did great today. Something about it just feels more authentic and honest. Don't you ever worry, your audience understands you and you have our support. You'll find a rhythm and pace as you keep doing more videos like this. What helps is having a rough idea what you want to talk about. It seems like you won't have a problem at all with future videos. It's exactly what you said, "the message is important." Thanks, that means a lot... I was in a mental dump, probably for a few years. Long story short, being 35, I have lost a few of my best friends that were taken to early. I thought I would put myself down too. After surviving and being alive again, I realized that I need to keep sprinkling positivity. Everyone whose been around me in my life, mostly at work, I bring the best out of people and my colleagues. It's just who I am. My purpose is not done. I'm glad to be having this conversation with you too. It's been a good one. Oh, lol and you're welcome, don't ever forget the power of music. When ever you need to lighten your day, just pop on your favorite tunes and listen away and get lost. Music has definitely been a huge part of my life as well. Sorry, I know this a long reply, just wanted to say thank you for this conversation. Obviously, something that's been long overdue for me. ❤️☺️
The new camera is great, will make using iPhone clips seamless as a benefit. I once saw a video about flipping your phone and catching it and since trying i hardly ever drop my phone
My mental health affects me daily due to my youth in Johannesburg South Africa in April of 1987 suffered a tragic car accident having a brain 🧠 and head injury which has affected my daily way of thinking but get by going for outdoor walks which helps my troubled mind
That sounds very traumatic.... you're so right in that being outdoors can help so much. I went for a few walks the past few days and they have really helped me quite a bit!
Just in case no one has told you this already, I'm proud of you for seeking therapy. Number one, because I think everyone should go at least once; even when there's nothing "wrong," sometimes just a mental tune-up is helpful. Number two, I had an ex with OCD that escalated over time... like, severe germaphobe, can't-leave-the-house OCD. And I always lament the fact that she didn't seek help (and that I didn't push her to seek help) before it got so bad. I hope therapy helps you tamp down the more discomforting thoughts, and I hope brighter days are ahead for you. With love from an internet stranger!
Thank you for this... I know that the therapy I've received during my lifetime has given me the perspective to know when things aren't quite "right" and when I need to reach out for help. I wish more people could do the same, because suffering alone is never worth it... thank you for taking the time to watch and share your story ❤️
hello beautiful this is paul again i would love to speak with you cause the impersonator was very good unless it was really you anyway we could speak privately thanks
Girl… there’s nothing wrong with how you’ve handled the hardships you’ve endured lately and that includes the guilt… it’s called being human. I think your followers like you mostly because you tend to act “real” instead of staging something for an increase in clicks. I also believe many of your viewers can relate to your situations and that’s what makes you special. Just keep doing what you’re doing and I can tell when things get tough you have the tools to pull through.. maybe show some of your viewers techniques in how to do so. Anyway, great segment and keep up the great work. Also… the cam you bought is perfectly fine.. no need to upgrade.

I’m doing my very best - thank you! So glad you are advocating for yourself too 💕

Sending you the biggest warmest hug I can ❤️ Cannot WAIT for the sunny warm days of spring and summer - they're not too far away!! We got this!!!

Hoping it helps you!! I’ve not had luck with any meds yet but hoping that may change ❤️ Thanks for being here!!!

Before you know it you'll be getting a full frame Sony with interchangeable lenses...
AI will take over before then and this will be a lost art lol🤪

I deeply appreciate your thoughtful feedback... thank you!! I will cook up some ideas on how to share what I've got in my toolbox as well. ❤️
You look beautiful like a 20
Thank you David!! OH what I'd give to FEEL like a 20 year old 😂
the better you film, the less editing is needed.
