@@projectsadventuresandrevie2386 the service chart was showing there is leak on the power steering, but then changing the entire kit might cost me higher .. I was told that he will change one component I guess the rack where some lathe-work is required … Another issue is that when I reverse the drive mode to auto from 4*4 , it’s not getting changing on the control Panel or dashboard It’s like I have to switch off the engine and switch it on Once after a muddy drive It was not getting changed even after the restart … Then I did a steam wash assuming the sensors are covered with mud It worked fine after that
@@AshkerAlpha143 Not sure why lathe work would be required to fix a leak, I'd get another opinion. Might be cheaper to just order a new Rack and Pinion from Rock Auto and have a local mechanic install it. Also make sure that second opinion checks all your power steering lines, hoses and flanges as the leak may just be a bad seal. For the 4x4, Id start with the actual switch on the dash make sure its good by either sourcing a used one to swap out or get it tested. If you power wash the under carriage and the 4x4 works again, maybe the electrical connectors are exposed causing a short.
@@bubba2for2 Thanks, much appreciated. I love this truck but it does have some quirks you'd have to iron out to make it a solid and reliable rig. Hopefully I can get enough content going to help other QX and Armada owners to watch and subscribe and help you guys fix these rigs up on the cheap.
Nice video ,After I fix the cam sensors this is going to be next on my wife's Qx56 !I. Love this Truck it's powerful& fast .
Agreed, I just got back from a 1200 mile trip towing a 3000k lbs trailer at a steady 65mph even up steep hills...this v8 with tow mode is a beast
А я думал такие машины у американцев уже на свалке
mine is a qx56 and thave some query on the suspension and power steering...
Hey Askar, Ill do another video of installing the rack and pinion bushings, common issues on these and a lot of people think its suspension related
What's going on with your QX56?
