Rebuilding/Fixing Instrument Cluster Infiniti QX56 Nissan Armada Titan Speedometer & Test Mode

This video shows you how to get into test mode so you can test/reset your instrument cluster. It also shows you how I was able to fix some issues with my cluster. It has been over a month and these are still fixed, so this can work, but I cannot guarantee anything.

I've had my cluster tested and they said it was good but it still does not light up or work just the security light have any suggestions

My gauges don't work, somewhat lights up and the whole thing flickers and goes out completely 🤯

You’d have to buy them and solder them in. Or maybe you could remove the orange tint on the lights? Not sure, just ideas.

A customer brought his qx 56 and the RPM is at redline. Even when car is off. So when driving it goes past the redline and keeps going all the way to the zero 🤔

Yeah I think it needs reset. It thinks the baseline is at the redline instead of zero. You may have to open it up and manually reset it?

So the problem comes back. When you rev it like 3 times in a row it twitches and then gets stuck. I’m thinking to change the stepper motor

I noticed your oil pressure guage is pegged all the way si is mine, any idea how to fix that guage.
