The reason Im proud of this guy. You should know performance beatboxing to people who are not beatboxer are totally different in their other shows for beatboxers.. Totally different because those audience don't know music that much, their feedbacks are totally unpridictable...
A great example of this is Tom Thum, unreal beatboxer and unreal loops on the station but when he goes to a show with the average person they just kinda laugh and don't appreciate it👎
i believe the introduction written to this video says it all. Thorsen you are awesome.! keep doing what you are doing.! (vi er alle stolte af dig)(tak fordi du representerer os) i hope to see you win the Loop/BBfinal some day.! we believe in you.!!
This video makes me proud to be a part of a beatboxing community, though still a beginner. The way Thorsen put how our vocal percussion is an instrument itself, and that we all had it anyway and that we only needed to master it like any other instrument gives a whole new light to the thing we do. Beatboxing, or vocal percussion whatever you wanna call it. ESH!
when he first beatboxed he went with the "got talent" style , when they level up and add sounds as if they're doing them at the same time.. That what gets people hyped tho
Is there anyone who knows how to do several sounds at one time like thorsen did on the beginning ? he makes 4 sounds.. is there any tutorial for this ? is this even possible.
Show me somebody that can do 3 sounds at a time. Cause from all the years that I've been beatboxing and watching videos you can only do 2 sounds (humming and a sound from your lip like an oscillation, high hat, drum kick, snare etc...) There's no other part of the mouth or throat that can add another sound in. What I think is that if it sounds like 3 then the person is going really fast or doing a complicated beat that confuses you. This is just my thinking if I am wrong then let me know.
Good talk and really nice permance. I have to admit that bass guitar is not really an instrument of much expression. I think with some higher pitched instrument you would have been happier, if expression is what you want. But it's amazing to see what powerful music you can do with just your body, so please go on with what you do.
I miss BBK in the crowd
Diego Sánchez Méndez hahh, u killed me bro😂😂😂 esh
Big Esh bro!!!

That first loopstation routine is nice!! I love the slicer technique.
I see you there esuohh
I am glad he mentioned exactly what effects he was gonna use, because some people might think that the looping involves all effects and no skill
4:30 "Dam .. you guys... clapped just before the drop" 😂 😂 😂 😂
LMAO just noticed that 😂
"life" is awesome!
I'm blown away by this kid's talent and by his courage to give a talk in a language that clearly isn't native. Right on.
This is beyond, beyond technical skill. I definitely see how he won 3 championships. No questions asked. WOW! That's all I can say. One of a kind.
i believe the introduction written to this video says it all.
Thorsen you are awesome.! keep doing what you are doing.!
(vi er alle stolte af dig)(tak fordi du representerer os)
i hope to see you win the Loop/BBfinal some day.! we believe in you.!!
Dang, I didn't expect Thorsen to be on Tedx. Esh.
Jake M I expected it to be BBK if anyone
After listening to thorsen perform on swissbeatbox. Ted Talks audio sounds awful.
Gabriel Eady true
Gabriel Eady yess
its not beatbox's spec after all and the building is way to large
Thts cause its not recorded properly. But live it would've sounded better
Gabriel Eady lol ikr swissbeatbox audio is so clean
Awesome presentation Thorsen! You've come a long way
Thorsens character is the best, so much passion!
08:21 when you speak faster than the mic can catch up lmao.

Holy shit. Thorsen looks happy. I thought he was perpetually angry!
So instead of being on my phone when I'm on the toilet, I can beatbox?
*shuts phone off and starts beatboxing*
Nate Wright I wish I could do that without my brother (who doesn’t understand beatboxing) yell at me
If i did that they would tell me to shot up
I love the way he moves his hand
oh dang one of the most known beatboxer in the world!
Thorsen is a well known beatboxer
Kevin Cho Not really, the best ones are the underrated ones, like Thorsen & he is one of the best!
***** I know, I ment to say that hes not the most known guy but he is one of the best!
Kevin Cho The most well known beatboxers are the Father and Daughter beatboxers. That was many people's first show of boxing power.
Wellcool
they all probably thought, who's this ginger hipster with his tunes
Given that he's giving the talk in Denmark and he won Denmark Got Talent 2-3 years ago, I'm guessing most of them probably know who he is. ;)
Hey man I’m subbed to yeah. It’s nice to see outsiders exposed to this kind of beatboxing don’t ya agree?

01:08 well said
Amazing
Is there anyone who knows how to do several sounds at one time like thorsen did on the beginning ? he makes 4 sounds.. is there any tutorial for this ? is this even possible.
Lorne Malvo Yes, It is just a pattern, not at the exact same time, that would sound horrible, just learn patterns dude :)
You can only do two sounds at a time, the other sounds are in a sequence or in a pattern like DuKiT said.
Show me somebody that can do 3 sounds at a time. Cause from all the years that I've been beatboxing and watching videos you can only do 2 sounds (humming and a sound from your lip like an oscillation, high hat, drum kick, snare etc...) GetRoasted1 What about a clickroll with a liproll and an inward high voice at the same time ;)
DuKiT Only time I can do that is voice cracks XD
Thorsen wow

Should've made an adjustment on the audio mixer for the performers that needed it.
