Omg,from an old sheep farmer that raised my boys on the farm you and your dad flooded me with memories, even the days when nothing went right, they are great memories now, thanks and hang in there
Im a new sub! Bro I related to you so much 😂, 90% of time handling goats and sheep always becomes several long hours. Only thing that has semi helped us, bucket train the sheep! Like once to twice a week with just 2 gallons of corn just to remind them
It’s called Sweat Equity and Paying Your Stupid Tax, which we have ALL done. Lol. Lord only knows how much I’ve paid. Really nice looking rams! Congrats!
That is just the beginning. Not only did I say we would sell 5 times more sheep next year, (75 rams, 25 ewes), we will also sell cattle, and puppies. But you are correct, no one gets rich being a farmer, but it's a lifestyle that we would never trade or give up.
@@andrewkamoha4666 ...They already *have* the land and farm...who said they were trying to build a farm w/4k? Also, they can do this over & over w/more sheep. This wasn't a one-time thing.

First channel that’s actually realistically informative especially for people starting for the first time. Love it!
Thank you very much! I appreciate that!
@@THATSAFARM Absolutely!
Your video editing and flow is great for the point you are at in this channel. Keep it up and you will make a living at it.
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching!

Love your videos!
Thank you! Glad you like them!
I’m in Arkansas as well, about to start up a small scale farm near Jonesboro. If you are close by I might be interested in buying some from you.
How old were the sheep that you sold in this video?
Where are ya'll located? Were those 100% Katadhan?
Thinking about getting into sheep. Do you ever let them in the same field as your cattle? What a great video 💯🙌
Sometimes. It's just hard to separate them from each other when you want one or the other to move to a different paddock. Thank you for watching!
That's pretty hilarious, how old are you ? I think your gonna make your Dad very proud of you..
I will be turning 16 in a few weeks. Thank you very much! I appreciate that!
Is hard work😂
Your dad 😂

Why wouldnt you move the truck up so you dont have to walk so far with the sheep?
We couldn't. That was as close as it was going to get. There was no way to get it and the trailer in that pen. Thank you for watching!
5:00 20 sheep for a total of $4k !?!??
Sorry, not worth it !!!
Every little bit helps on the farm!
@@THATSAFARM Ok, in your case agree.
However, it is not worth it to buy land and build a farm to make only $4k.

"no one gets rich being a farmer"
I'm not taking about getting rich.
I'm just saying that you can't buy land and build a farm with $4k.
