  • This unique unspoiled but fragile high desert wilderness has a magical, wild unspoiled beauty with stunning landscapes all round.
We felt a sense of solitude and well-being, we connected with nature, being surrounded by this awesome expanse of untouched, but fragile wilderness,
The silence was broken only by the hot, whispering desert wind.
Mojave Desert is a high desert at between 2,000 and 6,000 feet elevation. It's the driest of the four major deserts in North America , with summer temperatures in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Scatted across the landscape, Joshua Trees are unmistakable. They are native to the Mojave Desert and do not grow anywhere else on Earth.
The Mojave Desert takes it's name from the Mojave Tribe of Native Americans who once lived in this region.
