Mount Rainier: Noble Active Volcano: Wilderness Experience: Washington State :USA

How does one describe that which only the eyes, emotions and senses can accurately define.
In this video Pat and I;
1)Drive up to Sunrise Point, a lookout area with awesome 360 degree, spectacular views in general, and Mount Rainier, the highest and most dangerous volcano in the United States Of America in particular.
2)Hike from Sunrise at 6,400 feet elevation, North up onto Sourdough Ridge,
then follow the Ridge, West across several tricky very steep snowfields to Frozen Lake.
Mount Rainier is not a dormant volcano :
Issuing steam and toxic gasses under pressure from both its summit craters, it also triggers several earthquakes each month, located within 3 miles of the summit
We are fascinated by the historical geological processes that have produced this volcanic wilderness, where we both felt privileged to have set down our boots .
