I suggest that the MMDA conduct its operation on Divisoria, Binondo, and Paco. Cars of Chinese and chinoys businessmen blocks the roads left and right causing congestion during rush hours. Why aren't the MMDA doing anything. Instead, they kept on apprehending us Filipinos. Are we that afraid of the Chinese and chinoys in the Philippines?.

there are some taxi operators specially those with large fleets, allow their drivers to park their vehicles at home instead of the operators garage for convenience. problem is these taxi drivers dont have a garage hence illegally parking it over the sidewalks or at side streets.

We were in monumento around 6:45 pm coming from acacia market ! A patrol guy stop us and say our headlights on the driver side is not working but it was working! He pulled out his ticket book and telling my sister husband that his gonna write a ticket! But he was not writing it! Then he ask the permit papers ! My brother inlaw say ! I am a grab driver I always check my lights! They the patrol guy said! Ok I'm just gonna right on your permit that I already stop you! But he still not writing a ticket! In short he wanted money! He got 200 peso from my brother inlaw and let us go! I watch your blogs all the time and the others I follow ! I though those guys are no longer do that? I came july 18 last month and can't believe they are still some bad cops
the amount of penalty is still not deterrent enough for them to go to paid parking, make it 5000 petot for illegal parking & 10000 petot for unattended + towing im sure these drivers would feel the pinch of illegally parking then only then such practice would be lessen or totally eliminated
Do people ever protest a ticket and go to court? Is there a traffic court? Do they ever ask for your video footage for proof? Just curious. Always happy when you put out new videos. Good job 👍
Some drivers do contest their violation, through the traffic bureau. Sometimes enforcers would use my videos as evidence. Sometimes the violator would use my video as evidence. Most of the violations are pretty simple and hard to dispute, to be honest. But of course everyone has the right to contest it.
There are no changes in the attitude of the people because the penalties are very low. Can't the government see that? If they really want changes, be serious with the penalties. Put up penalties that would really hurt the wallets of the violators and I guarantee you changes within 1 - 2 months.
Considering the current trend, towards reducing penalties and even reducing the level of enforcement, I'm not sure if the MMDA or MMC would be able to increase the penalties, even if they wanted to 🤷♂️ I suspect we might even hear about an announcement to reduce the penalties related to illegally parked vehicles soon, at least certain types of vehicles. If that happens, it would certainly be a step backwards, in my opinion.

I saw a lot of hand made No Parking signs in the area that they call Smallville the entertainment distric of Iloilo City.
If they keep parking in the same place the fine is obviously not high enough to deter repeat offense.
it will increase every penalty and it can be a reason to revoke their license.
