      When you had that problem did it feel like your clutch disengage ? At 3700 rpm?

    • @adamgalindo
      @adamgalindo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Didn’t have my foot on the clutch. It would be when I was accelerating and it’d feel like it lost power

    Wow, awesome clip! Had to clean throttle bodies and MAF since my 2010 370z roadster was running rough. I can guarantee they were never cleaned by previous owner because when I started cleaning, they were both super dirty with crud. I wasn't quite sure why the idle was so high after I cleaned them until I saw your clip...didn't know I had to do the steps you provided to re-learn throttle bodies and pedals to get it back where is should be idling. My Z car is running great thanks to your instructions. Again, outstanding instructions, thanks!

    Thanks a bunch bro, this is definitely the best guide for VQ37HR owners looking to clean throttle body and MAF Sensor and gain maybe 5hp lol.

    Thank you! This was helpful. My G37 6MT has 78K miles and my driver's side resonator had broken - causing it to run too rich and throttle rpm at 2300. I repaired the resonator, (JB WELD) and cleaned the MAS and the throttle body. Huge improvement - this breathed new life into it. acceleration is smooth and linear again. I have way better throttle response than I did even before the resonator housing cracked.

    Never touch/move the throttle plate with your fingers.. have something or someone step on the gas (not with car on of course) as it is electronically operated and it might mess it and you will have to re-program your car. Learned the hard way.

    To AVOID all that RESET crap. Just (short version) spray THROTTLE BODY CLEANER (not brake fluid cleaner...) Like some idiots suggest. around the butterfly. DON'T over saturate!! gently wipe clean WITHOUT moving the butterfly. Also clean MAF sensor. (Use MAF cleaner) Long version...take THROTTLE BODY completely off. (only 4 bolts/long screws) spray both sides again WITHOUT touching butterfly. Re-install all components. Start car..YOU'RE DONE. NO RESET..!! Pushing the Butterfly can damage the Throttle body motor and change the calibration. Also you won't have to worry about high idling When done.
