I did everything you said, not only it didn't help - now secure search is hijackings my browser and I can't get rid of it in the settings. I just waisted 20$ on an anti-virus for nothing
I just did it it worked for me when you see Yahoo in the search you have to go all the way down the list and sometimes it says deactivate when you click on the three dots you have to look for Yahoo in two places I have to deactivate it and then delete like 30 times now it's gone
Okay, here's a challenge for you; How do I do this for free without spending any money???? FUCKIT, I'll just re-install the OS and get a clean start. When it comes to Linux users, this tends to be the best option.
Thanks so much. It will take more days for ne to feel that the problem was completely solved, but so far it really seems it worked. About the people mentioning that you didn't offered any "free" solution, thats is not true. You did offer a potential solution, maybe not for their specific situation but that is another thing.
I ran the total AV, but it is saying it didn't find any Malware, but I know there has to be because yahoo search is hijacking my search engine all the time. Any suggestions?
Let's disambiguate, the malware you are talking about does not come from the real Yahoo company, does it? Because you go on calling it "Yahoo" all the way to the end. (*typo)

Unless you are ready to buy "spyware software" don't waste your time with this "commercial sales pitch".
