Also Please Go To Settings- Click on "On Startup" then select "Open a specific page or set of pages" then click on add a new page and type www.google.com 👍👍

Yahoo is still taking over Google when after restarting. The steps I applied using your video worked until the restart.

I think you may have it right with Mcafee trojan! this has been driving me mad for about a year and I've tried most things to delete yahoo trojan. coincidentally that startedwhen my Mcafee subscription ran out👌

Also if Yahoo is still showing go to profile 3 dot then go to start-up and delete/ remove Yahoo from there
Then select open the new tab in that startup page

I just changed it from yahoo to google search and it worked, thanks! I don't know why it switched to yahoo, I was in incognito mode and it suddenly did that.

I just updated my Google Chrome 1 or 2 days ago the problem is when i download a pic or a video it saves in gallery but when i delete the pic or the video from the downloads of Google Chrome it get deleted from gallery as well please i need help 😭
If I click on my Google Chrome icon it goes directly to Yahoo so I can't access Google settings

I had to uninstall McAfee. That program was put on without my permission. I think it was something that came with Microsoft. It has caused so many headaches. I hope it is gone for good. Thanks for your help!

Help! I've tried all of your steps, but still, I open a new tab, it opens as Google, but when I type something at top of brower or in search bar such as 'maps' it goes to the Yahoo page again. So annoying!!

Try Repairing Windows
Search cmd then run as admin and execute the following 3 commands one by one-
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Restart.
Once Done Trying Running System File Checker SFC Scan
sfc /scannow
Restart.
Windows Updates-
Install all the latest Updates and then Restart the PC.

I Can Not get read of Yahoo. It got inside my computer, I tried all your steps, plus I scanned for virus and mulware. Could it be hiding in the registry? I would appreciate anybody's solution.

We need help please. It does not work when Yahoo gets inside Google and the computer. Google appears as my default, but when I do a search, I get this Yahoo symbol “y! google". It is implanted in google. We tried removing Yahoo several times from the settings. It is hiding inside the computer.

Nope. Doesn't give me the option to pick google chrome. Only has the choice of yahoo or nothing. Another bs "help" video. Delete this waste of time.
