I’m an MGM guy for a few reasons. Park MGM is non-smoking and that is really a relief after walking around so many smoky places. They have real blackout curtains. No light gets in at all. Their restaurant options are probably the best. It’s pretty cheap if you are any level of Rewards member and it’s not too big. The rooms are really basic and they need to clean them better. But when you’re in Vegas, you just need a good place to sleep. That’s why I always end up staying there. Also, on the points thing, dollar spent does get you credits but gambling gets you way more. Then there’s the whole coin in/coin out thing where like $500 spent at a slot machine actually comes out to like 3,000 credits because you are constantly winning and losing money. I got to Gold at MGM last year and I didn’t spend anywhere near $18K. Like 1/6 of that.
Seth R I do agree that MGM has the better hotel portfolio, but Caesars has the cheaper rates especially for members, as Rio is usually cheaper than Excalibur and Luxor, but most of Caesars hotels are cheaper that most of the hotels with MGM. Some people don't gamble which is why I used the hotel stay dollar for dollar example, but for those who do gamble, it's faster to level up with Caesars than MGM especially playing slots
@@TheVegasParadise Agree on everything you said. It is just interesting to me when you look at coin in/coin out on the website and I was like “I didn’t gamble thousands of dollars last time I was there!”

I rock with both of them. I have both player's cards and credit cards for each establishment. I will say that Caesars has the better rewards benefits. The 5 night stay at Atlantis Bahamas is a great benefit for diamond members. I have mine booked for December 2023. Completely free.

ARIA all day hands down is personally my favorite. Luxury, amazing spa, liquid pool, jewl night club, good gambling. The rooms are really nice.

Same here I’m a MGM guy I guess I mainly stay at bellagio or aria or cosmo I say that because when I book it’s certain rooms I book that are special. Although Cesar’s has nice rooms to 😊

Team Caesars all the way cause whenever I go to Vegas Im always comped at least 5 nights. Usually I stay at Paris or Horseshoe/Ballys. But I do love Cosmo and whenever I get good rates, I stay there also.🥰

I stayed at Delano recently and think their rooms are actually nicer than Vdara and Aria, at least the standard room. In terms of value for money it can’t be beat and I’d say it’s a 5 star hotel as well. Mandalay Bay’s sports book is way better than arias as well.
The Aria base rooms, yeah. I would argue that the base rooms at Vdara are bit more open then the Delano rooms, but I get your point. I would argue that the Mandalay Bay base rooms are nicer and BIGGER then Aria's and Bellagio's base rooms.
Jezmund90 I agree that Delano's base suite is better than Aria's base room and Vdara's studios. But once Aria and Vdara both gets to their base suites, they easily surpass Delano.
Anxiously waiting Cosmo to switch over to mgm rewards, picked up the mgm Mastercard and in the 1st month I earned 50 bucks in slot dollars and my points shot up, really tryin to hit gold with them this year 😭
I’m gold status with MGM and Diamond with Caesar’s and I prefer MGM all the way . I go to Vegas 2 or 3 times per year and am comped for 4-5 nights in Bellagio suites or Aria Sky Suites or Mandalay Bay penthouse suites plus a few hundred in food credits and at least three fifty in free play . Caesars rewards doesn’t come close to that for me anyway . I think MGM has a better upscale list of properties also . I am not a fan of the LinQ or Harrah’s Flamingo , Horseshoe or PH and the Rio is basically on life support lol. I do agree with you on Excalibur . IT’s MGM’s worst property. The outside is cool but the inside has seen better days and the rooms are horrible. Great video as always sir 😎😎😎
I'm an MGM Guy. MGM Grand was my 1st time, then Mirage for a few times, once at T.I. Once at Luxor. Once at Bellagio. Assuming MyVegas doesn't come-through with some Bellagio Comps, I'll be staying at Planet Hollywood for the 1st time in Sept. I'll get to see if you're right that it is an under-rated Caesars Property. Because I need 2 Queens & a roll-in shower, Mandalay Bay is the only remaining MGM I have yet to stay in. (Excalibur too, I guess, but I'll gladly skip it.
Kris Haines you'll need to book an accessible room if you specifically want a roll-in shower, but I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay at PH
Forget both Caesars or MGM. Venetian or Wynn is the best. I only stay there !
Hiroe Hayes Venetian and Wynn are both very nice hotels, Cosmopolitan is the best though

I have a 735 credit score I’ve been declined twice applying for the mgm credit card I’ve been told my credit score is way too low but with Caesar’s they not only approved me but have treated me like first class mgm not so much for me it’s Caesar’s all the way
I have emerald status with Royal Caribbean and get permanent gold status with MGM. Probably less than 18k to get the 55 points to get to emerald with royal and you will always have gold with MGM
I’m really looking forward to see what they do on status match with Marriott. I’m Titanium Bonvoy this year and lifetime platinum. That will certainly make me team MGM if they do it right.
The 4 Seasons Hotel inside the Mandalay Bay is also part of MGM now too.

Great video. You were a bit wrong on the earnings of tier credits tho. With Caesers, on slots, it’s 1 tier credit for every $5.

Does Caesars have more gambling properties outside of Vegas compared to MGM.
How is Mandalay Bay & Delano mid-tier? It's way more expensive than Bellagio, Cosmo, & Aria.
Di1sho if MB or Delano are ever more expensive than Aria, Cosmo or Bellagio, it's due to a system glitch.

I find MGM gives more, free play, resort credit, waiving resort fees and comps. Caesars never offers me nothing and I spend more with them.

Will Caesars match MGM card levels? I'm Platinum at Bellagio.
They will as long as you are Gold and above and you are opening an account for the first time.
Caesar’s will only match the first time.. but if you have it the other way around, MGM will always match Caesar’s as long as you go get it matched when the time runs out
Tom Nisen yes, Caesars will match but only for new members. I believe Platinum will get you to Diamond Elite, 1 below their top status Seven Stars

Great advice thanks. I'm coming in December for my 25th anniversary. We decided ed to go with Planet Hollywood. We liked the bathrooms the best. Question... About the shows is it worth signing up for the MGM card for the cirque shows and military discounts? Or should we just choose shows connected to the Caesars properties?
linsey siu you can't go wrong signing up for a free rewards program, especially if it's going to give you benefits. Even if you're not a member, that shouldn't stop you from seeing a show

I am a huge NOMAD fan. I can take my dogs for free without paying the extra $150 a night fee.

@@TheVegasParadise both! If I stay for 3 nights, it's a $450 savings (Other hotels charge $150 a night for dogs). Also, there's no smoking in the casino, which I like. Now, the hotel is not better than Bellagio, or Aria, but it does have some good qualities.

Hi Tim! First, thank you for this video; you are always on point! Having said that, I am a Team MGM Girl. I am a woman of a certain age, and I am spoiled. I have a very busy life being a business owner (brick and mortar) in downtown Denver, and blessed with an amazing family. Therefore, I appreciate the MGM properties more than Caesars for the relaxation aspect I get from VDara and The Signature. When I was younger like yourself and my kiddos, yes I was all about the action! But I actually go to Vegas to relax. So, I find that MGM offers more personable Hospitality, and their employees treat me with kindness and respect, and are very helpful and appear to enjoy their jobs. Have I run into an MGM employee who is rude? Yes. However for the most part they are on board with what Hospitality means. Also, I am a high level member with Hyatt, therefore I am a Gold status with MGM due to their partnership. And, yes I really enjoy the walk from The Signature to MGM. I always get Tower One (shorter walk), and when I enter The District at MGM I am entering a different mindset and ready to Vegas! Enjoy your weekend. Keep up the awesome work. CAB 😊

Cosmo is top tier for how they treat their reward members. MGM rewards members that get ‘Grandfathered” into this are going to ruin this for folks that have put the money and effort into maintaining their status at Cosmo. And apparently Top tier status at Cosmo is only Gold tier at MGM (per rumors, but also being told that when status matching at MGM when we attempted it with both Seven Stars with Caesars and Platinum with Cosmo, we were told Caesar’s met the criteria but Cosmo didn’t). This is bullshit. We status matched MGM Platinum with Caesars Seven Stars,but not with Cosmo Platinum.
David Schmelz yes this was a recent change. At the start of the merge Identity Platinum matched to MGM Rewards Platinum, but they changed it to where Identity matches a tier down with MGM now. I agree with you that it should still be the same (Platinum to Platinum), but Seven Stars with Caesars may be better than MGM Platinum as it's the 6th tier with their program.
