Love this! What a treasure! The world has lost a giant in Bobby Osborne. Thank you for sharing this time with him.

Bobby was a hero to anyone who ever herad him sing and play. If you happened to have the great fortune to know him he was your friend. If they were to erect a Mt. Rushmore of of singers and I mean ALL singers it would HAVE to include Bobby. Whomever you deem a great singer be it Sinatra, Elvis or Pavarotti Bobby is without question on that level. To all of Bobby's family my sincerest condolences. I have not even addressed the fact that Bobby faught and was wounded in Korea. In addition to receiving a Purple Heart for being wounded in action he was also decorated for his heroism in rescuing several of his brother Marines. Rest easy Chief and thank you for all the laughs and miles.

I actually got to see Bobby play the fiddle at Summersville WV after Sonny retired and Bobby changed to Rocky Top Express. I could tell that he enjoyed playing it!
