    I've been using the Wynex tactical admin pouch as my EDC. Work never had me much more than 20 miles from home. Things changed and now I'm out as far as 200 miles, 2 to 5 days a week. Bought the MOAB 10 as a GHB, but for the most part, it's become an EDC. My Wynex attaches to it nicely. I also added a water bottle carrier that fits a 32 oz nalgene bottle. This bag turned out better than I had hoped.

    I’m fan of 5.11 stuff and own several backpacks and bags, I also have a Moab 6 sling.
    When it comes to slings 5.11 Moab line is just ok, better options out there.
    1) body slings need to have an auxiliary side strap to stabilize the bag
    2) the small pouch on the strap is ugly and useless, even the smallest phones these days are bigger that that pouch.

    The plastic plate does come out. It takes a bit of pulling but iv taken mine out to check ! Be warned its just as hard to put back in. Imo the bag is better with it left in. Iv added a milspecmonkey admin pouch to front of my moab 10. The moab 10 has been an edc bag for the last year and tbh i think its an outstanding bag. Sure theres things id like to be changed or added but you have to compromise slightly but all in all does for me.

      @UrbanSuburban010  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the input! The MOAB 10 is a really versatile bag. If it doesn't have quite the volume you need it is super easy to add a few molle pouches like you did to customize it.

    Nice bag, but if carrying a weapon then carry a shield. For the non tactical look check out the Maxpedition Textudo Laptop Backpack bag that will fit a 17" or smaller laptop. The large inside pocket will fit the AR500 soft Backpack Level IIIA Armor though a tight fit. For my Swedish Fire Steel I have connected the large yellow plastic Hanson Pencil Sharpener from Home Depot for making tinder. Mounted on the outside of the bag is a rape whistle (per "Nutnfancy") and connected by a I.D.retractable tether (per "TheUrbanPrepper"). My clamshell cellphone is the Sprint Kyocera Duramax Mil. Spec. That meets or exceeds Military Standard 810G and IP67 Certified. The phone has eight (8) hours of talk time for the chatty types. For back-up power I have the Goal Zero Flip 20 Recharger in sexy blue for about 1.5 charges by the included micro USB plug cable. And there is room for a couple of moral patches; a subdued American Flag and an Owl patch by TNP ! The bag is set up for TSA, work, school or VA rules.. Where only the bad guys (or girls) have the weapons ! Thank you for the great video ! tjl

    while on your back floating around loose in there. Thanks!

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct. You're best bet is to get a hook and look compatible holster to put in the pocket to secure the firearm. 5.11, Maxpedition, Vanquest and many others make holsters that would work.

      Deep South Experience Hey thanks Stan. Don't know why this video took off like it did. It was one of my first 3 videos that I ever made and I haven't been able to top it since haha. It is a great bag, I still use it almost every day. As for the handgun issue, concealed carry is "technically" legal as per the actual written laws HOWEVER, the Chief Firearms Officer from your Province has to issue it and there is not a single one that will do it as it is at their discretion.

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it would fit a smaller laptop, say the size of a full size iPad. I don't have a laptop, just a Playbook and iPad mini so they obviously both fit. Take your laptop to a 5.11 dealer and try to cram it in. If it fits, get the bag. I can't say enough good things about it. It is awesome.

  • @jamesm.1467
    @jamesm.1467 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is an awesome pack as is the Moab 6. But unfortunately, these packs are outdated now. That small "Comm" pouch everyone likes to call it, is too small now for most cellphone devices. I mean seriously, who uses an ipod anymore when phones nowadays have the capacity now to store more music or whatever you use it for. But in all seriousness, not even a new iPhone or an Android device will not fit in those pouches anymore. I have the Note 8 and it will not fit anywhere near inside that pouch. Come on 5.11, its 2019 now, get with the times now...
    Sorry for the ranting, I really want one of these but will not shell out the money based on that. Good video of the pack...

    • @jamesm.1467
      @jamesm.1467 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@westcoastlife7885 I never stated that there is a better bag out there. I merely stated it being outdated for the mere fact the pouch on the strap is now too small to accommodate any cellphone devices of today. Most if not all new iPhones and Android devices dont fit it. 5.11 should update that pouch to keep up with the "Comm" times...its a great bag otherwise.

      I'm sorry you had a bad experience with it. I have had mine for quite a while now with no problems. In fact I have never had a 5.11 product fall apart on me. Did you contact 5.11? They may fix or replace it.

      I'm glad you got your money back. Like I said I have never had a problem with a 5.11 product but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

    you didn't mention how it feels on your back, how comfortable is it? there is another review on youtube and the guy said its very uncomfortable with heavy loads

      I have never had more than a few pounds in it so it has been fine. It`s not a really big bag so I don`t think it is designed for carrying a really heavy load.

    Could this sorta be used as a range bag? I only have one fire arm sofar so I wouldn't really need a big bag but just wanted to know.

      +Joshua Zaragoza (JoshuaVlogsBruh) I think it could be as long as you are not planning on bringing a ton of stuff. For gear for one gun I think it would be plenty.

      Why? It's great for insect bites, cleans wounds, soak it into some cotton wool it will take a spark. And apparently it also cleans hands. Seems a reasonable EDC in a small bottle?

      I would say +10 for hand sanitizer
