    My edc for work and play. I added a separate bottle carrier to the side because I keep my hand tools in the bag service technician. Holds a glock 26 and extra magazine too.
    I also own the Moab 10 and use it as a range bag carries a Kel-tec sub2000, with 2 handguns and everything you need for a full day at the range .
    The Moab 10 would make a great get home bag, the Moab 6 could be a decent go bag too. You can fit 2 AR magazines, and 2 pistol magazines along with basic survival gear.

    I have the 5.11 MOAB 6 and the 10... Best bags I've ever owned. I also went ahead and grabbed a Hazard 4 Plan B. So now I have a reliable EDC bag for work (MOAB 6) , a survival bag (Moab 10) and a very good fishing backpack with the Hazard 4.

    The secret compartment with the velcro is awesome. I have the MOAB 10 and when people want to see the bag they never look in the compartment

    In future bag videos, you should include a shot of you with the bag on and show how easy or hard it is to access while worn.

    I just ordered one in black. They didn't have the double tap in stock, which is what I wanted. My last EDC bag just failed again for the 3rd time. Remember that that old axiom , buy the good one be happy forever, buy the cheap one, be unhappy forever? (paraphrasing)
    Yep, bought a great designed bag for $35. Have made 3 repairs at a cost of $60, plus had no bag for several days !
    BTW, George carried the hamburger wallet in the back pocket, but I know what you mean.
    I carry a Leatherman Charge on my belt, with a Coast light to fit, at least one knife on me and 2 knives in my bag along with, Coast G10? Flashlight, mini Leatherman, CRKT Provoke, Zeiss mini telescope, Hatch gloves,wet wipes yes!!! , meds, H2O, granola bars, 🚑 kit, etc.
    Once you get used to carrying an EDC bag it's hard to leave home without it. Makes leaving quick and easy and organized. If you are a first responder, even if you're a civilian but always seem to be there and don't mind getting your hands dirty, get a bag .
    I see your CF moral patch so probably no CCW for you, but still, what a great velcro pocket, plus Canucks can carry in lots of places like Utah .
    Great video. Thanks for doing it .

    Nice review. I have had my black MOAB 6 for almost three years. I love it. I carry a Glock model 43 in the hidden pouch, when not on my person; it keeps it readily accessible to me.

    I have this MOAB 6 and it has been my edc bag for 2 years now. I replaced the knot-ended ropes for the zips with steel key rings for durability. Glock 17 won't fit in the concealed carry pocket. Glock 26 fits well though. All in all its a great edc bag.

      +Dean Winchester I can't really tell man because I don't have a 19. With the 17, you won't be able to close the velcro even if you get rid of the holster. I believe the concealed carry pocket was designed with subcompacts in mind.

    There is concealed carry in Canada, but you must meet the criteria. Very rare, but it does happen.

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Delta Victor True, as per the written laws there are provisions for carry in Canada...HOWEVER...each permit must be issued by your Chief Provincial Firearms Officer and as it is at their discretion currently there are none that actually...except in EXTREMELY rare circumstances. Usually for protection from predators for guys that work in the deep woods as far as I know.

      Also for Executive Protection in certain circumstances, many hoops to jump through however.

    Got the same bag same color today and will be using as my EDC bag. Ain’t nothing wrong for calling it a man’s purse bc essentially that’s what it is lol. Have to admit it’s a solid bag with a ton of compartments. Price was a bit steep but I like it and seems like it will last a very long time.

    I carry the Moab 10 everywhere and my wife and kids call it my man purse. I carry a few full size notebooks and sometimes my Glock case in mine so the 6 is a bit small for me.

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear ya. It isn't a big bag at all. Great for just carrying around the essentials. I have however transitioned back to bigger packs over the past year. Just easier when half the time I am carrying stuff for the kids on top of my own junk.

    Nice bag .... I find there is a limit threshold for the load out and weight of cross body bags. I feel the moab 10 fully loaded out with liquids etc hangs too heavy for long walks or all day wear. The moab 6 is far more suitable... Ps I think you need to tell your wife to leave your kit alone 😂😂

  • @blaktatt

    Love this bag. It is definitely my man-purse. One thing I'm curious about: different ways of wearing it. I sling it on my shoulder & around my torso. Occasionally just sling it over a shoulder. Any other methods?

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's all I do. Since it only has the one strap there are not that many options. The only other one I can think of is using the 5.11 tier system to strap it onto another 5.11 pack like the Rush series.

      JR Moritz Thanks man. I appreciate it, I try to make my vids to the best of my abilities, sometimes it works sometimes not so much lol. And for all intents and purposes you can't carry a handgun in Canada. I know that most of me viewers are from America so I was just demonstrating that the bag is capable of carrying one.

    Thanks for this video! I'm really interested in buying this bag, but some people say that it is uncomfortable. Then others say that it's because they're not wearing correctly. What's your take on that? Seems like you enjoy this bag. Thanks!

    • @dustyglock225
      @dustyglock225 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just received this bag today, and I already love it. The way the strap was already set when I took it out of the box was a perfect fit. I do feel this bag was meant to be worn a little high. A good way to set it is to adjust the straps to where the bag sits on your chest. If it's lower than that, then I can see how this can be uncomfortable. Overall, at first glance, and at first try I really love this bag. It meets my needs. We'll see in a year or so.

    UrbanSuburban... Serves wings but no wetnaps? Yeah, what's up with that?
    Thank you for the great review of this pack, as well as your review of the MOAB 10. that I saw here: My EDC Bag - 5.11 Rush MOAB 10. I've been looking to put together my first "real" EDC pack, and after seeing dozens of reviews for all different kinds of packs, I believe I'm deciding to get the 5.11 MOAB 6, based in part on your video. You were thorough, provided all the pertinent info, but didn't dwell too long and you weren't boring, GREAT JOB!!
    Oh yeah... That axe seen at the very end of the video, with the straight wood handle and axe head that almost looks like damascus... Is that something you put together or did it come that way? Manufacturer info please? :)

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks buddy, glad you liked the reviews. I am still using the MOAB 6 daily. It`s a truly great piece of kit. As for the axe, it`s a Cold Steel Frontier Hawk that I customized. I actually have a video on it from about 6 months back. I don`t customize it on camera but I do talk about how I did it.
      Cheers

    ive got the moab 6 and i dont really like it. i dont use it for edc. i just keep it in my truck for a place to store my pistol and xtra mags and various other stuff. it flops around too much when u wear it. its not very secure. like when u lean over it slips down and gets in the way. its annoying. they need a cross strap to secure it better. if u were to run with it, it would flop all over the place

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess its not for everybody. I agree that all sling packs would be more secure with a cross strap. For what I use it for I don't mind it without but it would be nice to have that option. Thanks for the input.

      @UrbanSuburban010  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I do not. I have gone back to a more standard, non tactical looking backpack. I have been using and loving the Mystery Ranch Street Fighter for at least 6 months now as my EDC pack.

      You can definitely own handguns with a restricted licence but unfortunately there is no ccw here.

    This is the worst EDC bag. It sits awful on your back. But as for a medic bag I love it.

      I see where your head is at. It does ride different than other sling packs but I don't mind it myself. I can see how some people may not though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

      if u run the strap back up to the clip forcing pad up to cell pouch it'll ride much better. I had same feeling it doesn't ride right. it's like it's mentioned to stay in front or on hip, uncomfortable. but much better if u run strap bck up pad to pouch against clip.

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yep. Sitting on a thick wallet on one side can throw your hips off and hence your back. Doesn't bother everyone but kills me.

      Been carrying a bag for 10 years , I just call it a man bag...who cares eh? If you travel internationally you quickly learn everybody else in the world carries a bag, EVERYBODY.

    May long weekend that's Victoria day or have the liberals suppressed that also, been gone awhile. You were looking into the future regarding the Springfield 911. My buddy who is a survivor of Glasgow still carries his wallet in his front pocket to counter pickpockets. Good review.

    great bag dude good vid can I have a knife in the bag in cananda or at least in the laws eyes I just dont know thanks bro cheers go leafs go

    • @UrbanSuburban010
      @UrbanSuburban010  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Ricky Jordan It's best to check with your local police but I would say that your intent is what matters. If the knife is in your bag because you are carrying it that way and have no ill intents with it you should be okay but if you have it in the bag with the sole purpose of concealing it you could potentially have a problem. The law is vary vague. Having said that, I carry a knife of some sort in my pocket (isn't that concealed??) as well as most bags I carry. I am no lawyer though so don't take this as legal advise.

    Bro, don't call it a man purse. Call it a man bag. If it's a man purse then stuff a box of tampons in it.
