I think Cyrus would have done much better if he tried to get hoopa unleashed instead of collecting the orbs and red chain in order to create a new universe of his design.
hoopa is above the creation trio but below arceus. it took arceus himself to seal hoopa and iirc hoopa was supposed to be the second in command so him being able to control the creation trio makes sense.

In the movie, the second Deoxys bodies Ray and it's not even funny. Ray slams deoxys into the ground and is buried by rubble, Deoxys rises up in a "ight no more games" and switch to attack form. After that, Deoxys then repeatedly hits Ray with multiple psycho boost, blast, and lasers to the point where Ray is just wiggling on the floor until the other Deoxys stops the conflict.
Deoxys also being comparable to Ray is alone a massive tier. Ray > Kyogre and Groudon (Both can pretty destroy the planet together or alone due to disasters) and BASE Rayquaza is
Arecus is God tier he can easily yeet you out of your own timeline, make replicas of Legendary Pokemon, fights you to see if your worthy of him joining your team, and he created every Pokemon region starting with Sinnoh. There's a reason why Arecus is the Alpha Pokemon!
In the Battle Frontier two parter with Deoxys it was able to make its own small dimension and changed the magnetic waves or whatever of the world to sufficiently mess with the navigational instincts flying types, the effects of a defensive instinct. It also had to be in its Normal Forme for Solana to capture it with the capture styler, when no other Pokémon such a device was used on put up such a fight (admittedly Rangers have relatively few appearances in the anime and Deoxys was easily the most ambitious capture one attempted).
Jirachi also granted a wish in mystery dungeon explorers of sky, where bidoof wishes for new recruits in the guild, setting up a ridiculous butterfly effect that causes basically everything in this games plot. Those games still deserve to be talked about more imo
I mean, the fact you can't get Phione without Manaphy, a mythical Pokemon, should be enough to classify it as a Mythical. Maybe it's not directly event exclusive, but the fact you need an event of sorts to get it should at least make it have partial Mythical status.
@@Kostyurik And how do you think that Phione came into existence, hm? Somewhere through that endless chain, that Phione or its parents came from a Manaphy. And how would you even get a Phione just so casually? You're implying the possibility of a trade, and if that's how you're denoting Phione's Mythical status, then you just basically said that no Pokemon is Mythical cuz I can get it from trading with someone else.
@@Purple_Valiant_119 yeah, somewhere it came from the Manaphy. But the thing is, while nobody would trade away legitimate Manaphy, everyone and their grandma could trade away a Phione, because 1 Manaphy can provide an infinite supply of Phione. If breeding Manaphy with Ditto would be limited (to one per save file, or at least one per Hall of Fame record), then Phione maybe could pretend to have some amount of mythical status. Even Meltan is kinda limited to 40 Meltan per Mystery Box per 3 days.
Meloetta can manipulate the emotions magically... that said, while it's decently strong, it's main reason for being mythical is it's rarity, not power... Which is the case for Mythical over Legendaries who are known for the power, Mythicals are special because of their rarity and the fact that it's unknown if they even exist.... and I wouldn't be surprised if the Poke universe as fake'mon too (like how humans created fake animals), so it's hard to know which Pokemon did and didn't exist.... because real Pokemon are so magical....
Jirachi granting wish in the movie is probably like that because of all of them were asking for some random stuff, that can be teleported While in the manga, emerald asks for a legit wish, which is to save the Dex holders
i mean, "save the Dex holders" is super vague. and i think you know where i'm going with this: Jirachi could've teleported them away to save them. Jirachi is so mid. Victini is a superior Jirachi.
I actually haven't heard the "you caught a fraction of Arceus's true power" theory. I honestly really like it since now it doesn't feel like you just caught someone who created a universe. You just caught like a millionth of it.
I've been binging your channel recently so this one popped up on autoplay. I didn't even realize that this was a new video! I think it's time I'll go ahead and subscribe. You've earned it
I was under the impression arceus split its power into the unknown as its thousand arms. The shinjou ruins event implies it needs to borrow the power of the unknown to perform certain acts.
I think deoxys is more powerful, in the movie it didn't really wanna fight. It was just looking for its partner. He covered an entire city in a force field that stopped all communication and movement outside.
Another thing that makes Zeraora's backstory seem rather silly is the fact that large volcanic eruptions frequently cause intense lightning storms... and the volcano itself is at least typically going to be the highest point in the immediate vicinity, so... lightning striking the mouth of an erupting volcano is probably quite common whenever a volcanic eruption occurs.
actually, jirachi's powers do also have fate-altering effects as shown in the special manga series when it modifies the battle resort's income. [also wish-granting appears to work differently based on the medium anyway]
It's actually not terribly uncommon for lightning to strike an erupting volcano, if the eruption is severe enough and the weather is right, the heat from the volcano raises the air pressure and causes a lightning storm. This happened when that volcano erupted near Reykjavik in Iceland over a decade ago, the lighting turned the ash to spheres of glass.
Arceus itself tells you that it's lending you an avatar of itself. As far as we know, this avatar may as well be one of Arceus' toenail clippings given life.
Darkrai in the movie: just a misunderstood pokemon just trying to figure out how to get along with everyone. Darkrai in the games: literally a villain or is owned by the main villain
Lighting strikes active volcano eruptions commonly. It's the highest point around with lots of conductive metals within the lava that is being launched skyward. There are a lot of videos of it online.
The Pokedex clearly doesn't specify that Meloetta's singing powers are magically enhanced. Also she's probably like the Muses from Greek mythology. After pondering it for a long time, my best guess for why Phione exists is because Game Freak had an idea that was later scrapped where you could get special Pokemon by breeding certain legendaries with specific Pokemon. Phione was made as a teaser when they were considering the idea. The Swords of Justice vs Kyurem thing would be so much more interesting if the Swords of Justice had a reason. The Zeraora origin story from the manga sounds like a legend. I have a feeling that Darkrai may be from the Distortion World given all of the darkness and spacetime powers. I yearn for the day when Game Freak finally explains that legendaries can be in many places at once so people can stop arguing about stuff like "Are there multiple legendaries" and "How can you catch a god-like entity"
At least zeraoras dex entrys persenaly to me are the most badass.like most entrys for mythicals discribe how they are op or how they came in to existence mean while zeraoras literarly say that it will kill you soooo fast with sharp high voltech claws that you wouldent even know you died
Arceus,The Creation Trio, and the Lake Trio all are shown as avatars meaning that their true form was never shown and that they can be MUCH stronger than the other Pokemons
you underrated Deoxys way too much in the manga it stalemated Mewtwo and managed to actually harm Rayquaza in the movie (Rayquaza is completely unfazed by a planet destroying meteor slamming into it face first)

7:00 "This means diancie can stop global warming if it wanted to? but it's just too lazy?" bro why do you think everyone in the pokemon world is still alive and not burning despite the thousands of fire-breathing lizards and snails hotter than the surface of the sun not to mention volcanoes erupting every time some zombie dog barks XD
from what i understood when i read between the lines on zarude's movie, i think zarude in packs is like an anti-human/civilization pokemon for nature, they reclaim regions that were once inhabited by humans and turn them into jungle, like how humans reclaim jungle regions and turn them into cities, by leaving behind vines that speed up the process of natural plant growth. and yeah, even when in pack, that feat isnt really that powerful, cause ghost type pokemons also does that but in a more creepy way.
did you even watch the deoxys movie? in the first fight deoxys just bodied rayquaza , then needed some glasses, bodied him again and the only reason why ray won in the end is because he pulled a sneak attack, point blank hyper beam against deoxys normal form. In the second fight ray got beaten brutally by another doe (deo2) in a 1vs1 fight where ray only landed one hit and at the end of that fight was lying KO on the ground and deo2 was about to finish the job only for deo1 to step in and protect ray and only after that did they team up. So without the electromagnatic handicap Deo absolutly dominated ray in the second fight. Though ray got his just revenge in the generations anime as a mega ray. I feel like people only ever see one scene of that movie with ray blasting deo....as they should because it's not a good movie... edit*actually it was the same deo that fought ray in bouth fights. The deo with the green crystal never fought ray in a 1vs1 fight* Futher more deo went 1vs1 against mewtwo in the manga in the fight between Red and Giovanni where mewtwo after a brutal fight won, but mostly due to him being red's mon and well.... plot. Fun fact:after gio lost his blackmail option with another deo (deoB), deoA switch teams right away. Kinda underselling deo aren't you?
I’m pretty sure it was stated that in legends Arceus the Arceus that you are allowed to use you don’t actually catch it simply grants you the privilege of traveling with you after completing its challenge and is a merely a piece of the True Arceus seen in the games intro even the brilliant Diamond and shining pearl official Arceus event which you could only access by completing legends is still just a piece something of an avatar which gives a bit more weight to that 1000 arms part of its dex entry when at one point it was thought to be the Unown that were extensions of Arceus it’s that incomprehensible that f being compared to any other in the series.
Something I should mention about your darkrai explanation is that in the gen 4 games there was a mystery gift darkrai event and this darkrai had both roar of time and spacial rend (not sure if it had shadow force but probably not) so this might explain why darkrai was fighting palkia and dialga on a similar level and being to manipulate space and time much like them
Actually, the thousand arms thing, and the Arceus you catch being just one of them kinda makes sense since Arceus look like it has fingers for legs, which aligns with the whole arm thing considering that hands are attached to arms.
Volcaneon can knock down mountains... Again... Black holes. Heck tyranatar can already do this. Also the fact that shaymin can convert polutants into nature-energy and cause a baren landscape to flourish should not be overlooked.
Marshadow is literally one of the most powerful Pokémon ever. I thought you were looking at in-game lore? Marshadow’s signature move is overpowered, it is one of the fastest Pokémon ever, it’s attack stat is god level and it can learn every elemental punch move, which gives it great coverage against psychic and dark types.
in game lore means pokedex entries and anything that happens in the story. Stats and competetive viability mean nothing. Also its move set and coverage are cool and all but just arent worth mentioning compared to its own or the other mythicals powers
Fun fact victini Celebi jirachi Manifee and mew are all part of a group called the Harolds they were made by arceus and through the wish of jirachi mew created hoopa and the other Harolds made sure that hoopa was a good guy by using their powers to make him good

I mean, the fact you can't get Phione without Manaphy, a mythical Pokemon, should be enough to classify it as a Mythical. Maybe it's not directly event exclusive, but the fact you need an event of sorts to get it should at least make it have partial Mythical status.
Technically you can get a Phione without a Manaphy. You just need another Phione to breed with Ditto 😆😆😆
And then we have the gen 8 fossils.
Jirachi granting wish in the movie is probably like that because of all of them were asking for some random stuff, that can be teleported
While in the manga, emerald asks for a legit wish, which is to save the Dex holders
And in PMD2, Bidoof wishes for a new friend (whom ends up being the player.)
From what I can tell, this wasn't really done by teleporting either

“Lock your doors because I’m coming to your home and I’ll pee on your carpet-“
actually, jirachi's powers do also have fate-altering effects as shown in the special manga series when it modifies the battle resort's income. [also wish-granting appears to work differently based on the medium anyway]
In the Unova Anime a Jirachi DID grant the wish to restore life to a wasteland making it a fertile paradise
For all gen4 nostalgic people - make Rotom a mythical again! (I know it isn't but we all thought this when playing Diamond/Pearl)
Yep, now rotom is as common as a ratata
In current generations rotom is so common they give it to starting trainers as pokedex.
Theirs a big divide between mythical Pokémon on one side you’ve got your Poké-gods and the other there’s the fairy-babies.
This video made me sad for new Gen mythicals 😢
It's actually not terribly uncommon for lightning to strike an erupting volcano, if the eruption is severe enough and the weather is right, the heat from the volcano raises the air pressure and causes a lightning storm.
This happened when that volcano erupted near Reykjavik in Iceland over a decade ago, the lighting turned the ash to spheres of glass.
Arceus itself tells you that it's lending you an avatar of itself. As far as we know, this avatar may as well be one of Arceus' toenail clippings given life.
And that's still more than the emanations that are the Creation Trio.
Arceus itself stated that it would give the player a shadow of itself, so it's only a small part of Arceus.
You know the bar is set high for these Pokémon when a Pokémon that can CONTROL KYOGRE is in the lowest tier
Diancie's ability to compress the carbon in the air to make diamonds is extremely lethal if you think about it since life is carbon based xp
Darkrai in the movie: just a misunderstood pokemon just trying to figure out how to get along with everyone.
Darkrai in the games: literally a villain or is owned by the main villain
Your Arceus theory is actually supported by canon since in Legends it was said you get a fragment of Arceus not that you catch it.
Lighting strikes active volcano eruptions commonly. It's the highest point around with lots of conductive metals within the lava that is being launched skyward. There are a lot of videos of it online.

Surprised you didn't mention the fight Deoxys had with Mewtwo in the manga! Good video tho!
from what i understood when i read between the lines on zarude's movie,
i think zarude in packs is like an anti-human/civilization pokemon for nature, they reclaim regions that were once inhabited by humans and turn them into jungle, like how humans reclaim jungle regions and turn them into cities, by leaving behind vines that speed up the process of natural plant growth.
and yeah, even when in pack, that feat isnt really that powerful, cause ghost type pokemons also does that but in a more creepy way.
15:38 This is supported by the pokedex saying you only obtained a piece of arceus
I like how there are legendaries that act more like mythicals rather than mythicals themselves
I still think that Game Freak introduced God too early..
did you even watch the deoxys movie?
in the first fight deoxys just bodied rayquaza , then needed some glasses, bodied him again and the only reason why ray won in the end is because he pulled a sneak attack, point blank hyper beam against deoxys normal form.
The deo with the green crystal never fought ray in a 1vs1 fight*
Futher more deo went 1vs1 against mewtwo in the manga in the fight between Red and Giovanni where mewtwo after a brutal fight won, but mostly due to him being red's mon and well....
I'm so glad you mentioned the mystery dungeon games, they are a masterpiece!
also Darkrai kind-off dynamaxed before dynamax was a thing in Pokepark2
I like to imagine the full arceus as a biblically accurate angel
Something I should mention about your darkrai explanation is that in the gen 4 games there was a mystery gift darkrai event and this darkrai had both roar of time and spacial rend (not sure if it had shadow force but probably not) so this might explain why darkrai was fighting palkia and dialga on a similar level and being to manipulate space and time much like them
It was just spacial rend and RoT, but it was a reference to the movie, as the movie came first
Actually, the thousand arms thing, and the Arceus you catch being just one of them kinda makes sense since Arceus look like it has fingers for legs, which aligns with the whole arm thing considering that hands are attached to arms.
Arceus, Mew, Hoopa Unbound and Darkrai are the Top 4 imo
I think darkrai should be replaced with diancie
