We are unboxing and installing a brand new Tesla style screen from Phoenix auto in our 2013 F-150. This is a 12.1 inch screen with all the bells and whistles. In short this is a pretty straight forward install that is plug and play. Enjoy Like and Share

Bro u got to get a AGM BATTERY for the raptor. A REGULAR battery limits your power capabilities. Not to mention if u OFF ROAD like i do your gonna lose water and dry your battery out leaving u stranded. Good video 💯

you should use a square drill bit to install the backup camera......
If you have corroded terminals on the battery, and can't get them off, pour some soda, coke, on it. It'll disoove the battery acid real quick. You can clean it up after and get the terminal off real easy.

Any way to have the climate control come on with remote start? When I use my remote start climate control doesn't come on until I get into the truck and turn the key on?
I have 2011 harvey davidson,pretty much is equipped with everything,gps,camera and heated and cooling seats and also factory sub,is it gonna be plug and play or still will have to deal with some wiring? And does it support seating options?
They will have a version for your specific vehicle, give them a call.

Yep! Sounds depends on speaker set up. I'm still running stock and it sounds good

Hey man installing dame radio. For some reason the position of my radio is off. It isn't flush. Seems like the stock radio that stayed in behind the screen isn't letting it sit flush. Did you have the same issue?
So I'm guessing that for the people that already have aftermarket stereos we can not use this radio since we don't have the OEM one??
They have some that don't keep the sync system
They make a model that does not require the OEM head unit. If you already have an aftermarket one, it will have to go.
Instead of the RGB lighting can you set the color to one color?
No it's default. Maybe in a future update

Yes and no. The system doesn't have a lot of RAM so it will be very slow.
How is the oem unit actually connected to the new one ?
Through aftermarket cables identical to what are already in the truck. It's plug and play
Does it have apple CarPlay?
How long did it take you to receive your head unit? I ordered mine online a month ago and they haven’t shipped it yet. Just hope it’s worth the wait.

Does it work if you have a stock camera?
Not sure, but if the wiring is similar it should. Best to contact consumer care to be sure.
Chris. You have one of the best explanation on this. Does you phone calls come out of tour car speakers? Mine is coming out of the little one that they supply
Don't connect the speaker if you have a car microphone.
It should work through your sync system

I bought a screen of these for a Ford f150 year 2013, and they did not install it well, the volume is in mute and the GPS does not work for me .. If someone can help me to solve 🙏
They missed a connection into the ford system. Gonna have to take apart and find the loose connection
I watched Phoenix Automotive's video (which they do at a table and seems to lack a lot of info). At one point in their video they said you can leave the small narrow sync screen, at the top of the original head unit, in the dash but leave it disconnected. Did you leave yours disconnected? If so how did you disconnect it. Also I was curious if you found Location to be working fine. Does the dash interfere with the GPS signal at all? Great video! Thanks for sharing.
GPS works fine. I left mine connected. No concern about interfering with operation of unit. It has a connecter on rear, just disconnect if you concerned, either way it won't work once new unit is connected
I was gonna chose this but they told me remote start wouldn’t work and the climate control doesn’t turn on automatically either so had to pass on it but I hope they come up with an update
They just started pre order for one that keeps the factory climate board so it keeps ac and hot on remote start. And check out the ford truck tesla group. Lots of info and almost everyone kept all factory options
I have remote start, no issues.
@@chrischophouse7759 remote start works but the cold/heat doesn’t work automatic as it does with stock radio
So no other option than using the factory head unit? My factory head unit has failed so I was looking for an alternative.

You lost me at the wire nut and the camera install. You might consider some self-solder connectors and heat shrink tubing for the connections and an emblem backup camera.
This camera is what Phoenix auto sells with their units. There are other options available in the market.
@@chrischophouse7759 I'm surprised this is the camera they sell as an accessory for the head unit and it's not more plug and play. I'm looking into buying one, I might need to consider a better camera if I'm going to have to go through all that trouble anyway.
do you know if this can be installed without the factory radio? I currently have an aftermarket 8" screen in mine.
It will need the factory box with CD player to work.
Stepping on the reverse camera wire every day will break it extremely quickly.
There is a grommet in the wire channel toward the back seat under the black plastic floor panel. Run the wire through this to the front and behind the kick plate and up under the dash. Then you won't be stepping on the camera wire.

Did you plug in your stock HVAC cables into the rear of the unit?
@@chrischophouse7759 Sure, I did it, but, doesn't work... Y tried everything ... then, I connect to the original controls. I think is the model, 2010, maybe is not compatible.

Only if your OEM uses a AV cable( like the colored cords we used to plug into the tv) I'm sure someone knows how to re-wire it, I unfortunately do not.

El peor servicio prestado postventa, me enviaron una pantalla que desde el inicio se daño y me hicieron esperar dos semanas a q se acabará la garantía para decirme q es la única vez q puedo devolverlo, cuando me la regresaron me enviaron la misma pantalla dañada, porq olvidaron borrar los dispositivos bluetooth y wifi que estaban guardados de mi casa, son tan incompetentes q solo me escriben q llevan 2 meses trabajando en mi tiket, que clase de personas en este mundo tratan a un cliente como un pendejo bruto, jamas volvería a comprar algo y si pudiera les tiraría esa porquería de productos defectuosos q venden y los trataría mal, porq es una falta de respeto vender algo q no sirve y posterior a la venta burlarse del cliente de esta forma.
