Hey Steve, Great question 😄 The unit has a GPS antenna to allow you to navigate without the need of data and you can download your favorite navigation app right from the Google PlayStore such as WAZE, Google Maps, etc..
Hi! So I’m going to do this project with a Tesla screen 12” I purchased with a rear camera in it too. But I’m not sure how to plug it or install it to the new screen or if I need hardness from the rear side all the way to the back. Idk if you have a video or some tips for that! Thank you

Check the camera input in the settings. There are two input settings, VGA and something else that escapes me. I believe these head units ship with the wrong one selected. Have him go to the radio’s settings app (not the android settings) and switch the input setting and see if that helps.

You don’t have to remove the ford radio system. The new unit will not work without it. Please correct video and not have viewers go through the work of removing and then reinstalling the radio unit.
Hi There! Thanks for reaching out. Actually this version is the NON SYNC version and therefore you need to remove the CD player. If you buy the SYNC version of the system, then you need to keep the CD player and transfer the SYNC system 😁.
@@WorkshoptwelveConnect , this would be useful in your video, or on your paperwork. Given there are so many types/options, it seems a bit silly to only show the 'non sync' version of this install. Now I have to go back and re-install my cd player to see if I get sound back.

They has auxiliary outputs for after market amp
The non sync version has auxiliary outputs however for the sync 2/3 versions you would need an LOC in order to connect After market amplifiers

How about with Limited edition? Does it shows the seat massager views, auto start and stop , 360 angle camera buttons?

So what happened to the buttons on top?
The buttons at the top facing the front of your dash are relocated to the very top of the unit.
If I have Sync 2 can I still install the non-sync kit and keep steering wheel control, backup camera, etc? Thanks!
The system has a different power plug so you would need to order the sync 2 kit.

With our kit you do not have to remove the SYNC system.
Is there an option for trucks with Sync 1?
We only have options for the non sync, sync 2 and sync 3

You forgot to screw in the bottom circuit board screws unless you did it off screen.
Checkout the 8:00 minute mark. That's when I transferred the climate circuit board to the new unit :)

Where do you find the password for the settings?
The factory settings code is 7890 however we do not recommend you touch those settings as you can ruin your kit beyond repair.
