Oh, be still my beating heart!! What a gorgeous collection of cars for a Monday. A Jaguar XKSS (original) sold earlier this month for £5m!! Thank you so much for this the full English alone is worth the drive.
Hi Alex, What a lovely collection of vehicles there, that USA Ford truck looks like it would be a "monsta"... That 1951 Land Rover looked good as new...but then so did I in 1951, a year old when that was built... The red car that you thought had been "chopped" (a Ferrari?) wasn't chopped, they were built like that. Talbot Cars were quite prestigeous when those models were born. The ted Aston with the "filled in" grill had a different air-flow system, but it didn't catch on...wish I'd been there. Those breakfasts looked good, set you all up fir the rest of the day...😃 Take care, Jon B. 🤓
Hi Simon, We know Alex, always tells it like it is, but she did say she liked the blue Bentley best of all. Good to see you there enjoying your day out. Catch you later & don't forget, U T D...😀
What an incredible barn even bonfire you take into account all of those magnificent cars. I've only ever seen one of those Ferrari 512bb out in the wild but the Alfa SZ Zagato next to it is a model I've seen a few times, it's styling is still controversial after so many years but with it 12 valve Busso V6 and rigid chassis they are said to drive well. Delage is a French marque who were very successful with pre war GP cars and luxury grand tourers. The Jaguar XKSS is an incredible find, I have a 1:18 die cast model but dint think I've ever seen one of these D types for the road. The E-type with the hard top also looks interesting, perhaps one of the light weight models? I'm afraid I'm not Jaguar expert . Aston Zagato I've only ever seen photographs of (the red one). I think most cars would struggle to pull off those seat covers Alex but the Marina has it nailed. 👌
An interesting place Alex with some fabulous machines. The Bentley is gorgeous but it wouldn't fit on your drive so you are not allowed to have it. The music soundtrack music sounds as if it has the Smashing Pistons influence.
Great Motor Museum, well worth making a trip to and the breakfast looked very good too.

I had to smile when you said "Marina is the best looking car here", not because I disagree with you, but just that you said it!

Annoying they had the radio on in the one shed, so I had to try and over ride it with some copyright friendly music lol
