It's hard to eat right when you're on the road all day, too many temptations everywhere you stop.... Maybe it was me telling you not to weld without covering up 🤐 wouldn't like to see you hurt yourself as I've done while not wearing layers of clothing. Last thing to happen me was welding in runners and hot blob of weld melted through it and stuck to my foot 😭👍🇮🇪

Hi Alex, you're going great guns with all this repair work you are doing, so many skills you now have. To be honest I dont think the font end is as bad as the back end was, which serms wierd...Have you fitted the new rear wings yet ir are you waiting until you've finished repairing the front end, and then fit them all together? Nice Video Alex. My Snap-on Screwdriver started to slip so, watching you fix the identical one enable me to take it apart, clean and lubricate the small bits. Getting it back together again was not so easy but the wife's eyebrow tweezers came to the rescue. All now working perfectly...Thanks...🤩

He is looking so clean at the front Alex, you are clearly doing a great job! Interesting to have a look at how the suspension is designed at the there with the springs mounted horizontally on a pivot. That was masses of rust flakes coming out of the sill! I'm enjoying seeing Mr Jenkins taking shape again.

Yea dojng shift work certainly doesnt help with eatjng sleep ect. I recently lost just under a stone in weight , it was a struggle. Nice see you cracking in with Mr Jenkins , im looking forward to seeing him on the road. Yes i like tizer ! 😂. I also like soup😊. Ive recently aquired my wifes car . Was under it the other day jet washing it, the car body is mint but the back axle beam needs brushing back and rust treating for mot.

You need a sharp and pointy picking hammer. That one is OK for slag removal on arc welds but no good for "diagnostic" tapping. I'm a bit worried about the amount of loose rust in the sill. It's got to have come from somewhere. Know anyone with an endoscope?

Hi Alex, Tizer is or was, meant to be a fizzy mixed fruit drink. I used to drink it when I was a "saucepan"...it was quite refreshing back then. Re' the Brushtival antics, I didn't see one loo brush there, or a drain brush, I have one of each, along with an assortment of "arty" brushes...also a couple of yard brooms...would have been cool if they'd had Trigger's Broom there, he looked after it well, it'd had 3 new handles and 4 new heads...😁 Take care, Jon B. 😁

Just a quick tip with the welding. It may just be the Audio on the video but it sounds like your gas flow is way to high. It's not a problem as your technique is spot on and the welds your producing are plenty good enough it just comes down to wasting the gas and in turn wasting money. Good work tho keep it up, lovely to see a woman getting her hands dirty and doing a bit.

Aha, as the owner of the white dolly near the end I can safely say that fuel is the one thing it isn’t leaking - it does however leak out all of its clutch fluid in about 5 hours. A great show, definitely need to try and turn up a bit less late next time lol

Hi Alex. Thanks for the Rustival footage. Your view of what constitutes an interesting car aligns with my view much more than other TH-camrs covering it. I'd like a PA Cresta too (given my initials) but haven't owned one yet. I did have a PB Cresta many years ago. Anyway the differences between the early and late PA Crestas are more than at the back. The front is a little different, and unfortunately they also took the opportunity to make the instrument panel more boring. The later ones did get the engine upgraded from 2.2 to 2.6, so that was good. The Triumph Herald Coupe was a shortlived body style, but I think it the best looking of all. The NSU Ro80 is a very interesting car - look it up if you're not familiar with it. Don't mistake the car for the disease! Cheers.
