IBIS has the best filters available for photographs, but Infinite has a crazy amount of textures already uploaded. Also, in the lest of types of brushes, there is on where you can store the brushes you duplicate, and customize yourself, but there's a catagory named "downloads" where Infinite users upload their brushes for anyone to use, and they are all free. The customization features on this, as all the apps are pretty great with thier functions, Infinite is more precise in my opinion, and once again. The stabilizer, or "SMOOTH" feature is the best of any of the programs I use. Each brush needs to be adjusted to your liking, and it's a great that they do it this way, because some brushes have more control then others, but you can adjust it to a single number percentage. Sketch book has a lot of useless brushes, or just the same brush that has been customized already. I began with Sketchbook and Ibis, and I loved them both, but Infinite Painter, once I figured a few things out, I rarely go to either of those two apps. The interface is so user friendly it's stupid, and there's the great corner double arrow option that clears any tool bars away so you can use your whole screen for drawing on.
Agreed. Infinite for me is the best overall, it is so great and powerful yet lightweight on my phone Samsung A22 and give an awesome result for paintings

I coukd use some practical advice to decide on a very easy to use, free drawing app for android tablet S6 lite with stylus. My primary use is to import photos and convert them into line drawings. Then to make value studies and trials gor composition and color. And to be able to print out full size on A4 paper. In other words as preparation for paintings or mixed media artwork. I'm not computer savvy. So what app is the best one for me?
Simply import your photograph as a 300 dpi image. .jpg .png etc. Into your drawing app on its own layer then draw on top of it. You can change the opacity of the layer that has the photo to very low say 25%. That is how I would do it. No conversion necessary. 300 dpi is necessary if you want it to print well. Setup your canvas size according to print size for example to print 8×10. Make canvas in drawing app 8"×10" at 300dpi resolution. Hope that helps

which pen are you using in this video??
Samsung S Pen that came with Tab S7
Its a shame you spent almost no time on Sketchbook because its amazing and has lots of tools you didnt even show, like making your brush strokes smooth, being able to select anything you want and copy that specific area and transform it resize it whatever, you can import images as a layer and play around with layer types, create masks etc. its very similar to regular photoshop in a lot of ways. i use it for Twitch emotes because it also allows for custom canvas size.
and unless something has changed its a free app
Sketchbook's a good app. But unfortunately I just can't master so many drawing apps
What...??? Autodesk sketchbook is completely free right??????
This is so cool. Thank you. Can you point me to beginner lessons on using these apps for kids?
Maybe start with Concepts. It's relatively easy to use. Quite straightforward. concepts.app/en/
