Someone didn't read the instructions fully. Ya dont have to hold in the button, you only have to click it on and for the second pour, you dont touch the button at all.
Great video, just one thing. No need to push and hold the button. Just press it once and that's it. You don't even need to turn it back on for the second part of the pour. I also tried it with a regular can of CO2 beer, in my case Wicklow Wolf For Pete's Sake. It gave me a load of foam while flattening the beer, as you might expect so don't use it on normal CO2 beers.

What's the point of the lock button if you unlock it before pouring and why do you press and hold the power button during pour. Other videos give different instructions. Is yous recommended by Guinness?
I wonder if it will work with a normal can with the pin hole trick. I just bought a proper surger off eBay but looks like this could just be as good as the surger with the cans. I’m guessing they are exactly the same as the surger cans but rebranded.

You can use a normal can just release the pressute before opening the can, a pin hole on the rear side should do fine. Basically you wanna make sure the widget is spent before opening the can and letting the nitro do the agitation
lovely way to enjoy Guinness, been drinking this for 2 months now. Pouring really easy just leave glass on table , pour without touching sides of glass. Stop as you have done at 60/70 percent point. Wait a minute. Press button again and fill to top , again not touching sides, perfect dome everytime.

Strange marketing policy with Sainsburys. You can buy the Nitrosurge tins but you cannot the Nitrosurge unit. I was pleased later when I found out it was nearly £30.

For anyone buying it, you need to wash it after every use not just rinse it. Had to throw away my first one as I was only washing them at the end of the evening. Regular Guinness/Murphy's and Beamish cans work fine as well.
I only rinse after I've had my fill which could be 16 cans 😂 and dry it with a cloth why did you get rid it stop workin? Lot of hassle too be rinsing or washing it after every use

Apparently on the normal draught can it'll give it a fairly thin taste. I think the draught cans were just designed to be poured as they are as these cans don't include a widget I believe.

Can be used with the CO2 cans as well. Just puncture the top of the can with a needle and let the gas out, then follow a above. Lovely creamy pint.

Have done that and it works with normal widget cans, just tap a pin into the round bit in ring pull and let gas slowly escape.

No, because that can has the widget. This is different technology to achieve the same effect (releasing the gas from the beer) without the widget.

They work with normal cans, though a normal can doesnt produce a dome (im guessing) cus its 500ml instead of the nitro can which is 558ml

You're doing it wrong. You only need to hit the button on gadget once. You don't have to hold it and you don't push the button for second pour

You need the special cans. The normal cans have a widget in them that puts gas in opening so won't work with this and is also a different size

Tried this at a friends, didn't seem worth it. Swirl the can with a wee bit in and you'll get a dome.
Review it with a clean glass at least. I wash mine with dish soap and then rinse with dish washer rinse aid. Dry completely. Works pretty well.
