Great volg Brian. The panos are my favs, but there's not a picture I don't like. I've mentioned before I love your easy, relaxed vloging style, which is so easy to watch. I look forward to the next one.
Beautiful intro Brian and loved seeing the all the wildlife over there. Loved the side light tree image and my favourite was the dramatic sunset with the swooshing illuminated high clouds - just a grand explosion of colours! Enjoyed all the images and explanation of the vignetting - great to see you out and all the best>
Thanks Andrew! Thankfully a number of different compositions ended up working well. Those were my favorites as well. Hope you’ve been doing well and you get out again soon!
This was a great video, Brian! Great to see you out even more! And those sunset colors! Man, I'm jealous!! I love that panorama crop of the mountains at 9:13! Keep up the great work, and it's great to see River again!
Interesting! I've never seen anyone else use Canon glass on a Fuji. The pano-aspect image with the birds is my favorite, but they are all very nice. You certainly had that owl's attention. Good video work to my eyes too.
Thanks Brian! Appreciate it. And using the 100-400 on the GFX isn't really ideal long term, but it sure beats the big expense of the 250mm and 500mm lenses. Maybe someday I'll make a change
Lovely images from that afternoon and evening. I especially like the last one, nice composition. A nice surprise to see a new video from you so soon after the previous one. I need to go out and make a new video. It has been a while. I've been shooting a bunch, but haven't been recording any of it.
Thanks Alex! Yeah that last photo came together a bit unexpectedly. I had a bit of free time this week that I don't usually have, so I was able to get out sooner than I'd expected! How has the weather been out west?
@@brianbeattyphotography It's been warm and same for a while. But a bit of cooling is arriving today and tomorrow, maybe even a small chance of showers overnight.
Hi Brian, great video. New subscriber. What make of L bracket are you using for your GFX? I’m struggling there and am not quite ready to spend the dough on a RRS but I will need one that doesn’t torque out of place.
I typically just visually check and then compare to the distance monitor at the very bottom. I really like the scale that shows a little blue bar over the in focus range. But typically I do a visual inspection because I can see how much leaves are moving, etc. that way I know if I need to up the shutter speed
Brian, this video instantly calmed within seconds and just kept getting better! Kudos!
Thanks Scott - appreciate it! Hope you had a great thanksgiving. Looking forward to what you end up to next!

Thanks Jude! It's definitely an interesting experience having River join along. One more thing to keep track of when the light gets good!
Amazing! That owl at 0:25 is incredible and the colors in the sunset shots at the end are so so good!
Thanks Brian! I've seen that owl a handful of times whenever I go to this spot. I think he stood there and watched us for about an hour.

@@brianbeattyphotography It a world of G.A.S., it's a refreshing example of thrift and practicality. Good for you!
Haha, I appreciate that. More than you realize 👍
Love those last two images, fantastic! Nice light! good to see you in the field. Take care, buddy!
Thanks Michael! It was a nice surprise getting great light after a pretty rainy week.
@@brianbeattyphotography I wish we had that light all the time, but it's nice when we do!
@@ScottymanPhoto for sure! It’s because it’s not common that we appreciate it
Really liked this video. The video quality itself and the photography 👌
Thanks Stig! Appreciate it 👍. Getting into TH-cam I never understood how much work just the video side of things was!

Thanks Scott, and glad you followed along! I’m using a sunway foto l bracket. It hasn’t moved since I put it on and doesn’t block any of the ports 👍
There is a plastic rear baffle on the 100-400 that is easily removed and will eliminate any vignetting.
Yeah I’ve heard that. Will see what can be done
Do you not like the focus peaking of the GFX, figured you would use that with manual focusing?
