Hurray Hurray! I LOVED the topic on aging!! I'm 61 and would not trade it for anything...I got married at 60 to my truest love and also became a yoga instructor that year! I take good care of myself and love my life. Next year I'm starting a new life with my love and recreating my business!! You can do anything at any age! Thank you Thank you both!

soooooooooooooooooooooooo resonate with internalizing if we're not happy in a relationship!!!!! We're so conditioned to make decisions based on logic and the way things look on the surface, so it feels wrong or like we should be guilty if we're not happy when everything on the outside checks out. LOVEEEE this reminder to be fully in our power of making decisions based on how we FEEL!

I can so relate to the Middle/High School trauma that lingers subconsciously. The glass shattering moment came for me when my husband finally assured me that all those little girls were just jealous! Not profound in any way. But there was some part of me that couldn't see past that feeling of childhood rejection, even though I could point it out for fellow women, students, and friends. Amazing the effect bullying can have.

My Bucket List is Auspicious, Audacious, Ambitious, BUT(Saving Grace???) Altruistic.
It's high time we ignorantly ignore the stored away Education ( Formal OR Self Taught), Experience , Genius AND Wisdom of our Elderly by locking them away in Cold, Impersonal Nursing Homes where loneliness Withers away their Genuis and death becomes a welcome refuge.
I have a plan that can help rescue their Genuis & become a invaluable resource for rescuing our World from its present Self-Destruct-Mode and seek assistance from competent, caring others in making my Auspicious, Audacious, Ambitious BUT Altruistic Bucket List a REALITY!!!!

As Tom Bilyeu would say it’s all about neuroscience. Every time we get triggered we generate an automatic response that is hard-wired, which includes the thought (based on a belief), the associated feeling and then the action. In my experience the way to break that cycle is by weakening that response that is in fact wired in your brain. You’ve got to insert a different thought (an alternative explanation which is a technique often fought in therapy), associate a different feeling and take a different action. And it won’t feel good, and it won’t feel right, and it will feel like you are lying to yourself and playing pretend because that is not your normal, that is not what you are used to. But the longer you practice the new response the more normal it will become. Look at people around you and pay attention to them responding to the same situation in a completely different way. Look at situations when you responded in a different way and things were still ok and even better. This is the evidence that will help to convince your mind that there is an alternative way and it will be easier to adopt it.

Cos all of us look different when we age. So just found that interesting :D Great show as always. Really hit me with the 62 is considered young when dead but old when alive. Never thought that. :0

NLP has a model for clearing imprinted neurology. Every experience has a beginning a middle and end and emotional content that's tied to it.
If you relive The Experience backwards at high speed the experience will stay but the emotional content becomes uncoupled from the experience. I like to describe it as taking the sting out
