"...but when you show up in all your enlightened goodness and you stand on your pedestal and you preach to the masses that they just need to get over it and be like you and be awesome the way you are; you are not helping anyone, as a matter of fact, you are doing a lot of harm. You are hurting a lot of people..." She is absolutely correct. It brings to mind some individuals I have encountered who appear to be highly credulous and write books sharing their challenges and struggles while sending that message of "get over it!"
A great example is the radio host Charlemagne and others that cant think of at the moment who believe that because they've overcome a traumatic experience others should do so as well.

Comparison, being in the wrong story, and "getting to that pedestal" where someone else is = soul crusher! It's wrongtown. We have to do our own work. And emote as much as you need along the way even when you've been told to keep it under control. Our greatness comes in our own ways, in our own time.

@@beatapyszniak266 I think that the reason she teared up is not due to pity, but due to her relating to how you feel, and because she is a sensitive soul, which is very good! I literally was thinking these things *yesterday. I had a lot in mind and on my heart. I believe(through past experiences) that I am not going to be or feel comfortable (and I am not driving, so I wouldn't be able to just leave if I really need to). I have to pack(like now), but I can't bring myself to do it.

Being finally free is one thing every woman should be looking after. I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly basis via my investment and got 5 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! - I liked the point that having to love your self might end up you feel you failed at another thing. Very true, thinking about it that you don't have to love your self really takes a lot of pressure off.
    - The point about some of the ppl who have made it through tough times, and then say you can do it it should not be a problem, rather than having compassion and empathy for those ppl who still struggle is another powerful point.
Thanks again for another great video.

Thank you so much for this. I wept all the way through. These are two veey special women and I admire their bravery. Thank you

how the stories are created gave me sooo much perspective. Also i think is amazing the kindness Cynthia projects, about how the process goes, the discovery, the change, such a nice way to view transformation, instead of just powering through.

Your videos were on autoplay on my laptop and I was juuuuust about to get off to do some work when I heard her introduction.
As a previous child of poverty, neglect, and PTSD I couldn't help but stick around and be in awe of her work. I've honestly wanted to create a holistic approach such as what she did; but have always had the narrative that it was "too broad, too this, too that."
Thank you so much, to the both of you, for having this talk. It was so helpful.

Yes, yes, yes... I just figured out the other day the past troublesome years have allowed me to find the answers to my health problems. Troublesome years contain forty. Let me make it easier for everyone else. Vitamin B-1 Thiamine deficiency will cause about twelve different symptoms. The number is high so I'm guessing, but for me anxiety has been substantial. The other day I hit a Dear. It was dusk on a back road with drivers ahead and behind me. Long story short the Dear servived and I was able to drive home. Normally I would of been panicked, judgemental of my driving, and stewing over the up coming cost. None of this happened. A miracle in my eyes and mind and a new experience, stress was non existent. Acceptance and compassion for the animal which I apologized to. Praise the Lord the Dear was able to run away once the police arrived.

I love, ‘I’m not available for people that take away my power....’. My question is is how do we not allow this when is person is our partner/father of your child?

      Detachment.

  • @louiseforde5502

Sometimes we hold onto pain because it allows us to hold on rather than let go. If we have loved someone and/or we love someone we need that love to be seen and mirrored by those we love. Holding on fools us into thinking the mirror will reflect the value of what we have inside...what we offer. The belief in marriage/love can be like this. Thank you for saying "what if you don't have to love yourself!!" ..What if I can just get to know myself better? AMEN sister!
