After replacing switches in rear latches of Sliding door, remove #7 fuse 7.5 located at the interior drivers side lower kick panel near hood latch open lever with key on engine off. Reinstall fuse to reset body control module.
Yes, I don’t add music to my videos anymore. I thought it will help to keep it more interesting. Many told me it was too distracting. So I listen. No more music. 👍🏼😊
Came here to specifically say I enjoyed the music. People can't be grateful, always have complaints about something, lol Thank you for your insight, by the way. It was a great video!
Both of my sliding doors stopped working when i replaced the battery after it went dead. I tried pulling the 7.5 fuse several times as shown in other videos and that never worked either. Doors wont open by switch or keyfob
You may need to connect to a scanner with bi-directional capabilities. Basically, using the scanner to command body control module to open. It’s possible the body control module is not communicating
Is the part you removed called a ECU ? Today dealer told me my side door control unit ECU needs replaced for $800 becuase drivers side door doesnt open. Are they selling me the whole thing rather than just replacing a switch inside it?
@@713jtmechanic8 yes, I think dealer is scamming trying charge for ecu price. Stokes honda in sc. After reading reviews seems to be a ongoing problem there. Also said needed 4 new tires because dried out. Brought back to our tire shop and they said only 20k mile on them and they are fine.

Hi there sir I watched you and you did a great job can you help me from where to buy the micro switch for Honda Odyssey 2010 for sliding doors I thank you very much, David.
Unfortunately, I lost the footage of instrument cluster and did not come out video. To get codes: First, see video timeline 1:11 to 2:15. This will help you understand how to connect the two contacts. Once you connect, then turn the key on, do not start vehicle. Second , look at the instrument cluster where the odometer reading is located. The codes will appear. You may have to push on the reset button located on instrument cluster to scroll for other codes, if need to be. Hope this helps. Good luck.

My odyssey door is not opening , and I believe the switch may be my issue. I’m gonna take the latch assembly off, and see if I can do this. I’ll probably fk it up, but I’ll try anyway.
You are amazing, my driver's side sliding door is now fixed because of you.
