Makita has had this cordless coffee machine out for a few years now and I thought id give it a review.
I picked up the Makita DCM501 from Facebook Market place, hence I do not have the spoon or Makita mug. They retail for $155 AUD for the skin only.
I use my cordless coffee machine mainly when I am away camping or out on a day trip. I think they could also be great to use if you're working on a nonpowered site in the woods. I love being able to drink freshly ground drip coffee instead of instant coffee.

I just recently learned about this product and you answered my questions regarding battery power and volume of water. Thank you so much for this very informative video!

I’m really interested in purchasing this maschine for camping and what not. I’m just concerned because I use to use the keurig single cup coffee maschine with the refillable coffee cup. I’ve noticed that the coffee just wasn’t strong atall! Would you compare the flavor and strength to a regular drip maschine? Thanks!

      Hello,
Unfortunately I cannot comment on the keurig reusable pods, as I have never tried one with reusable coffee. It does come out fairly strong. If you’d like your coffee stronger I’d just grind it finer so there’s more surface area to water when the hot water is passing through grinds. Hope this helps a little. When camping you’ll need about 2.5 amps of battery per coffee. So for 4 coffees you’ll need 10 amps of battery.

@@leonardoleclere I’m a carpenter so I got a bunch of spare batteries at my disposal so that won’t be an issue 🤣 and thanks! I’ll be buying the olive green one tomorrow! Can’t wait for next spring so I can break in the new tent!
