Hey mate, They do get hot after a coffee is poured. I think if you were using it all the time that the amperage drain on the batteries would reduce their life span considerably.

@@leonardoleclere It's not even about the compressor, it's about all the walls & the lid having space & air to breathe so the heat can escape. There's a reason in the manual it says leave a gap between the freezer & whatever wall you put it next to

Hello, Unfortunately I cannot comment on the keurig reusable pods, as I have never tried one with reusable coffee. It does come out fairly strong. If you’d like your coffee stronger I’d just grind it finer so there’s more surface area to water when the hot water is passing through grinds. Hope this helps a little. When camping you’ll need about 2.5 amps of battery per coffee. So for 4 coffees you’ll need 10 amps of battery.

Awesome, yeah same I’m a Carpenter also. I go camping for up to a week and drink a lot of coffee so I pack all my batteries. Haha
