    These yoga sequences are so unique. It's very refreshing. I have been suffering with depression since my teens. It really tends to knock me off the fitness wagon. This routine helps to keep me moving (and motivated) when I feel a little blue or lack energy. Thanks

    A few years ago I woke up and couldn't get out of bed. I didn't go to work and I had menntal breakdown. I started taking anti-depressants. I found this video and started doing it every day. I changed me. Within 3 months I was off anti-depressant. I am so grateful I found it. It changed my life.

    A lovely sequence, moves quite fast so will need to repeat to learn. Loved the tapping at the end. Just what I needed this morning to feel energised and at peace with the world. Thank you.

      +Deborah Fischer Dear Deborah, Thanks for commenting. Yes, the flow is a little too fast to follow, so we have taken such comments into consideration and have paced down our recent videos. But for this particular one, I suggest you watch it once to get the logic of the organic sequencing and then you will be amazed at how your body will intuitively guide you from one transition to the next. Thank you for practicing and breathing peace into the world. All the very best for an inspiring 2016!

    yes it does feel hard to follow without lookng at every second. The pose would change without me realising when I had just gotten settled into the previous pose.

    • @YogeaArtFlowYoga
      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Izabela,
      Thanks for your comment. This sequence is one of the first things we shot, so the directions could be a little unclear, and some of the poses are signature and not standard and it's hard to follow, but if you liked some poses you can practice them separately, or if you want to do a similar routine, you can try our de-stress routine that we posted a couple of months ago "Restore the Flow", Perhaps you might find it a little more user friendly. Thanks for the feedback again, it is very important to us!

    This was a wonderful class. I enjoyed it very much. In the end I would have been very delighted to hear some precious words of beauty or why I should feel loved and welcome in this World. Just as a wonderful reminder to listen to the own melody that you might have forgotten when you feel depressed. Thank you very much for sharing and inspiring. With a smile in my face I send best wishes from Germany.

    It is the most beautiful yoga routine I've ever seen. Not to be attained by beginners I am shure .. but so perfect! I wish I could move like that, it is like a dance. But I suppose it could be dangerous for people with back pain, not so young bodys, not enough practice ... perhaps you should put a word of warning. Absolutely beautiful!

    • @YogeaArtFlowYoga
      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Odile Endres Dear Odile, Thank you for such an elaborate comment. We will absolutely heed your warning and put a notice that this practice is not for beginners and people with back issues. Thank you for suggesting. This way we will prevent people from injuring themselves. Of course it is designed as an open level, but beginners should adjust according to their needs. We will specify this in the description, as you mentioned. Thank you so much for helping us define the flow better. Keep on practicing and shining you light!

    Very good flow. I'm not depressed, but as a person that has been through major depressive episodes, I feel I need to emit optimism into my life through my practices of meditation and yoga. This worked well, and the tapping was very familiar from Iyengar Yoga practices that my yoga teacher has shown us. Yoga every damn day!

      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ilkka Saarinen Dear Ilkka,
      Thanks for commenting! You are absolutely right "yoga every damn day" does it. And as you pointed out it allows us to anchor in our divine embodiment and project positively into the world. It is great to hear that you could actually integrate some of these practices into your Iyengar immersion. That's why we offer diverse tools so that everyone can employ them in whatever way serves them best! Thank you for your practice and for spraying your light around. I could feel the positive emissions and they make me smile. Let's keep up the practice glowing every damn day! Namaste!

    I loved this! It really helped me slow down and re-center. I'm so happy I found these videos. So far, each time I turned to yoga and needed something, I've been able to find it in your videos. I was feeling lousy and stressed, and by the end of this, I was able to see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel and I even felt like I could genuinely smile. I can't tell you what this meant to me -- having a perfect practice like this to turn to at the end of my day, right when I needed it. Keep up the great work! I actually really liked the pace of the video. It allowed me to focus solely on my movements, and helped me to keep my thoughts from wandering. Namaste.

    Fabulous routine! It's so thoughtfully designed for depression. Lots of back bending to bring energy up and twists to nourish internal organs, along with inversions to bring circulation to the head, while fish variations stimulate thyroid. I'm curious about the rationale for the tapping pattern used. Some of the places tapped are acupressure points for the emotional freedom technique, though most aren't. By what mechanism does the tapping help alleviate depression?

    • @YogeaArtFlowYoga
      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this is a practice that integrates yoga, pressure points and as you mentioned ETF techniques to clear emotional toxic residue through the etheric body. The tapping is truly detoxifying on every level and always clears stagnant emotional debris. Here's to your joyous spirit! Namaste!

    Nice use of reflexology at the end. I'm an aspiring yoga instructor, I graduate from my teacher training in Jan 2017. I just found this channel and I really like it. You're so inspiring! 🌻

      Dearest Michelle,
      Thanks so much for touching base. So wonderful to hear that you are pursuing the beautiful mission of the Yoga Teacher. Blessings to you on that path. In terms of Yogea transitions between creative novel poses, it all gelled together after 20 years of researching, exploring and discovering. There will be a new book coming out next Fall, explaining the mechanism of compound asana or Innovasana and the philosophy of this novel and yet ancient flow. In terms of notating the sequences, I don't usually do that, but I make them very organic for the body to remember. i just remember the starting point and then the body unravels like a string, and I know that it is right. It is just tapping the intuitive intelligence of the body in a more creative way and trusting that it will take you intuitively where you need to be and where you belong. All that is explained in the book, so keep on practicing with us and stay tuned. And just be open to all possible signals and guiding posts, - yoga is in everything and you just have to marvel nature and its creations to experience it and then translate it to your students. Om Shanti to YOU! Namaste!

      Dear Christie,
      This routine was shot at the dawn of launching our channel and we were trying to figure out the most optimal way for instructing poses that are novel and a flow that is unconventional. If you try our recent videos you will surely find them more user-friendly with better explanation of transitions. But if you liked some of the poses from this video, feel freed to add them to your home practice. Thanks again for making the time to write to us.

    serait il possible d'avoir l'enchainement des postures de façon à pouvoir les imprimer...?

      +Maryvonne Dear Maryvonne, Thank you for your request. We have never thought of doing that for our viewers, but if you need the sequence of poses for this particular practice to print we can do that. Just let us know and we will send you a description of the poses for you to have. Because Yogea is a more innovative style some poses are variations of classical asanas, but other poses are completely new and they come with fun names. So we will give you a break down of this sequence if you wish. Actually, every video is accompanied by a blog and a short description of the poses that it contains and the benefits it brings. Perhaps you would find it helpful to skim through before you do the routine. Thanks for your request and as soon as you confirm we will send you the break down of poses! Happy practice!

    You r so good. Only sad part is poses r not held for long enough to get the full benefit , they are not done three or four times , and all the left and right sides are done separately . Its best to continue left and right and left and right to keep balance rather than so many transitions at one side and all over again the other side. Its looses its flow. Plus true you should be doing the commentary as you know the poses . And offer options for difficult poses. Its no harm in it is it ?

    • @YogeaArtFlowYoga
      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Asma,
      You will get slower routines where you can hold the poses longer very soon, so stay tuned. Just letting you know that the way this style is designed is that it flows in certain sequences on one side and when the side is completed, it reverses on the other side. So basically the poses are not done on one side and then immediately on the other. So if you want to do some poses for your self, you can pose the video and just hold them for as long as you want, and do them on both sides if that works better for you. But based on all your requests we will be designing slow paced and accessible, easy to follow routines that you will hold much longer so you can enjoy and reap the benefits. And yes the instruction will be more detailed and you will have modifications for difficult poses. Stay tuned and cheers...

    This is a great video. If I have lower back pain, should I go into camel?

    • @YogeaArtFlowYoga
      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for commenting Nat! If you have lower backpain you can still do a modified version of camel, where you lift up only from the sternum and you gently open the mid back, while keeping the lower back long and lifted. If you have lower back pain make sure to keep your back toes curled under and then reach for the heels with your hands so you don't over compress the lower back. Ideally, you should enjoy camel just by gently arching in the kneeling position without even clasping your heels with the hands. Always make sure to counter pose camel with a child's pose or any contracted abdominal variation to neutralize the curve and massage the spinal muscles. If you want to learn more about energetic and anatomical alignment in poses, please visit our Asana Lab.
      Continue your practice. Namaste!

      Dear Shahnaz,
      Thank you for your remark. This style is unconventional and it takes a while to get into the logic of the sequencing, but once you have the patience for that it is very rewarding and you will get a chance to learn new ways of transitioning and new poses. If you felt frustrated, perhaps this is not your type of routine, but you can check some of our recents posts, which are shot and narrated better, and hopefully you will reap the benefits.
      Thanks again!

    This is WAY TO ADVANCED and fast for beginners and regular people, it can be dangerous to do this kind of yoga without a real yoga teacher in the room ;(

      Maria Ljungström Dear Maria,
      Thank you for your comment which is very useful for us to adapt the routines for the needs and levels of all. Yes, you are right, this is not a beginners practice, it is more an open practice and you have to have prior knowledge in order to commit to this flow. But if you need something more basic, you can try all our routines which are defined as "beginners" and "basic". They are all innovative, but safe and empowering. Thank you so much for commenting. Good luck with your practice!

    Way too fast for an anti-depression routine. Regardless of how advanced you are, you have to keep looking up to follow this routine, which does not allow you to find that inner balance and peace that yoga provides to heal the soul. Those who are depressed are often upset and frustrated with little energy. A fast pace that does not allow you time to get the full benefit of the post, in my experience, worsens depression in the moment. I am grateful for the generous free yoga video, but this should really be re-labeled without saying it is "anti-depression". (Or maybe that's just me.)

      Lukeriah Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. It is really helpful for us in order to improve our videos. Yes, you are absolutely right this video flows a little too fast, but the poses are especially good to fight depression. It was one of the first videos we shot and it flows in two directions and the pace is high, so I understand why it is hard to follow from first try. But if you like some of the poses or practices, feel free to integrate them into your practice. At least you would be able to reap some of its benefits. Based on viewer's comments like yours we have worked on improving the pace and instructional value of our videos and our recent posts are much better and more user-friendly. Thank you so much for this valuable feedback. Namaste!

      Inna O Dear Inna, Thank you for your beautiful impression and description of the sequences. The grace and beauty streams from your words and you can learn all this very easily, by practicing regularly, so that you won't only get aesthetic appreciation, but also reap some physical, mental and spiritual benefits. This is very confusing video the commentary does not go with the moves in time the person doing the poses should be the one to explain her moves

      Dear Ade,
      Thanks for your comment. Based on your comments we are improving the quality of narration, demonstration and explanation. This was a routine that we shot early on and we weren't aware of its directional and instructional flows. But now this haas gotten a lot better, and we are making progress with every video!
      Thank you for sharing! Stay tuned!

    I was distracted by the voice: it was quick and not very smooth. I am currently battling depression and little stuff like that doesn't help. I won't be able to do this video because I find I get irritated with the voice. And it feels like she is reading from a script instead of speaking from the heart.

    • @YogeaArtFlowYoga
      @YogeaArtFlowYoga  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      zoeyangelpup Sorry to hear that you were distracted and irritated by the voice. It is definitely not a scripted voice, but we will keep your comment in mind for other videos in the future in order to provide better voice overs and instruction. Perhaps that was just not soothing enough for you. It happens, and yes the voice is very important so thank you for taking the time to voice your opinion. But the poses performed are valuable to help fight depression, so if you like some, feel free to extract them from the video and practice them whenever you like. Namaste!

      Dear Julie,
      Thanks for commenting. You are right, this is a fast paced routine, and if it irritated you, please, try our most recent post on depression "Cheer up". It is much more user friendly and it only flows in one direction so it is easier to follow and enjoy. Namaste!
