  • Walk in the Wild brings together amazing vendors from around the Bay Area. Bakeries, breweries, caterers, restaurants, and wineries gather to support the Oakland Zoo's largest annual fundraiser. Guests of this unique event will stroll through the Zoo and enjoy delicious cuisine, libations, fabulous entertainment, and dancing under the stars. Don't miss out - make your reservation today. Reservations for the main event start at $150 per person ($125 for Zoo Members). Due to the service of alcohol, all guests must be 21 years of age.     Patrons and Sponsors (4:00 - 6:00pm) Reservations for this pre-party event start at $300 per person. It's a themed party, "Cotton Club", in honor of our featured animal, the Cotton Topped Tamarin. Festivities will be located at the Snow Building, overlooking the San Francisco Bay and will include special appearances from the Zoo's animal ambassadors, live music, specialty cocktails, Zoo update from the President and CEO, Dr. Joel Parrott, and the opportunity to get a head start on the Walk in the Wild festivities.

    Walk in the Wild - Main Event
    Wine, Dine & Stroll (5:00 - 8:00pm)
    Stroll the Oakland Zoo and discover some of the Bay Area's finest epicurean offerings. Enjoy delectable delights from nearly 100 bakeries, breweries, caterers, restaurants, and wineries.
    Dancing and Dessert Under the Stars, Flamingo Plaza (8:00 - 10:00pm)
    End your evening on a sweet note as you sample an array of desserts and dance the night away under the stars to the rhythm of the night's live entertainment.
    All proceeds from this event benefit the Oakland Zoo's conservation, education, and animal care programs. Last year, through our efforts, more than 50,000 school age children developed a connection to wildlife and the natural world.
