- One of the most amazing builds you’ll see in RC has been in the works for nearly two years and we just couldn’t hold off from showing you any longer. It’s a nitro Losi LMT project! Greg and his old friend Kevin Hetmanski teamed up to make this one happen. Well, more like Greg donated his Toyan 2-cylinder 4-stroke nitro engine to Kevin and he did the rest of the work. The whole point was to show you something really cool on the channel and this is a build worth checking out!

That is an incredible amount of work and engineering. I doubt it'll perform nearly as well as a stock LMT but blows it away on the cool scale.

Wow such amazing and well thought out plan to me I was very impressed I have been racing for close to 25yrs I started out in nitro from 1.5 traxxas tmaxx to savages and then the revo nothing like the nitro roar when goes ripping by ya. JUST WOW AND SO CLEANLY DONE Impressive

Didn’t hear that story, but have one to share. Kevin, Peter Vieira, Derek Buono and I went out for pizza while we were all at RCCA. Kevin kept asking the guy behind the counter what each type of pizza slice was they had on display. The guy finally got fed up, grabbed the random slice and said “It’s shut up and eat it pizza” and slid it across the counter. That’s what Kev had for lunch that day and we couldn’t stop laughing.

What a fantastic build, I hope he brings it back to your channel for running videos when it's done. He really went all out with his engineering skills. I put a Toyan 2 Cylinder in a 1/8 crawler. It's super slow. Has no wheel speed to hop obstacles. I need to find a 2-speed transmission for it.
I'll be bringing it back to the channel as soon as I can make some progress and get it running like I want.

I love projects like this, I remember several years ago RCDriver mag had a special issue with nothing but custom builds like the LMT. My favorite was an O.S. four-stroke powered Tamiya Areomax semi truck, with working smoke stacks. I wish I still had that mag, really cool stuff inside.
I built that Aeromax and it was Car Action.
