#4 LEVEL OF EFFORT Dude, I totally felt that. I was doing 500-700 flyers on targeted doors daily in my lawn business for over a month. I remember telling my friends I was ordering flyers by the 10,000 from vistaprint. They didnt believe me, it didnt sound realistic to the average thinker. I put audiobooks in my ear and hit the ground for hours each day. I ended up grossing my first 100k that year in business and have never looked back. SOLID ADVICE. Go hard and you will succeed
I can't express enough how I grateful I am for your content! My husband and I are starting our business because of the wealth of information and encouragement from your videos! Thank you!
These are my favorite videos and channel now . I’ve watched so many of your videos and get something out of every single one . Feels like one of the very very few on TH-cam genuinely putting out stuff to help others
Important reminder to everyone that when you watch these top 10 lists type videos you gotta be taking physical notes in your journal or none of the lessons will stick. And Alex shares some banger lessons worth remembering!
I’m a big fan of yours you encourage me to be even more successful than you, your success and education it’s the biggest influence that I have to get to the maximum level of achievement that a human being can possibly get, thank you for being such a great educator, you’re are believe it or not, influencing a new era of successful young people that ( want it or not) but I’m sure you do and that’s your goal with this, will be way more successful than you, thank you for such a selfless act, thanks for such a big help for future generations 🙏🏻
Huge fan Alex, bought both your books and applied so much of your actionable advice, added £££ to profit and improved life in many ways, but these newer videos are just too busy
I have been watching your videos a lot lately, and Im saying it to my self every now and then, this time Im taking the time to comment it. Bro.. you’re so f*cking huge
0:50 I noticed something interesting while looking through businesses and watching this video. He suggested that businesses should create an offer so good that people feel stupid saying no. This has me thinking, Chick-fil-A never seems to have coupons or deals, which sets them apart from other restaurants that offer discounts. Their motto is "full price or free," and I find it intriguing to consider how this philosophy can be applied when starting a business or looking at the business world in general.
Hey Alex. Love your videos. I’d love to see a week in the life of Alex and Leila Hormozi. You could do one every few years and see how your life changes as your businesses grow.
I just realized I can create my own business by not hiring employees but hiring a manager or boss of me. Just like movie stars do. Stick to what you know. I know how to work 18 hours a day without a pee break. I'm a worker. And now I can be a worker that gets paid way more
Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in a twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you are no longer accumulating but withdrawing its hard to be anything but cautious.
Making it out at a young age is quite difficult. I started a side hustle at 17, saved up and made some good investments. l'm 28,live on my own and having a good life for myself. Big ups to you and everyone out there trying
@@kathyfrugalsen3047 Yes it sure is. I put in money in investments and get profits. That 's how I make more money without working. This does not sound new to you right ?
Hi alex. the first thing really resonated with me. I am in the same situation right now. i quit my job and have been building web design business, but my runway is almost gone and I am thinking if I should double down on working on my business, or go back to work and dedicate only leftovers of my energy and bandwidth to my business for the sake of peace of mind. I am thinking to go back to work for some time, save up another runway, and then continue with what I am doing. combining things would be difficult, because I am an architect, and my work is mentally pretty demanding, and leaves me almost 0 creative energy at the end of the week. any suggestion?
You’re the man Alex !!! Thank you for putting big time knowledge out there for small timers to use to grow. What you do is so noble, so practical and so helpful. It means a lot
Great video! I learned a lot. One key takeaway for me was the importance of making a decision and committing to it, rather than endlessly researching and waffling (which I tend to do). Thanks for creating this video and sharing your experiences and lessons learned. So much value!!! Thanks Alex!
Man Man Man. I hope you read this comment, cause every single thing you say I believe it deep deep down my own heart and despite people telling me million other things. It's f**** amazing to hear this with such a conviction from you. Dude you're the man.
One of the things you talk about a lot is finding coaches and mentors. How do you do that, especially when you’re one of the millions of people just starting out?
My stage of life… the only thing I need from this video is the first minute. I’ll come back in a couple months to learn the rest but for now I just need to jump.
Damn this was slamming the info out at a high rate man! Thank you! Alex you will probably never read this ...but...I am learning a lot from you and hope to meet you one day! All the best
BIG SH*T TAKES TIME⏳ new entrepreneurs really underestimate the levels of foundational work they need to put it in before they are 'ready' to attack the next phase of growth. For example you may know lots about coding but you can't just sell software when nobody knows who you are. So you need to have mastered getting eyeballs (sales) to your software. In order to grow sales you would also probably need to have mastered hiring and recruitment. In order to have mastered hiring, you would need to have some level of understanding of what an A player looks and talks like, and then be able to SELL working for you. ETC ETC, there are LEVELs to learn and master, so anything BIG takes TIME⏳
Where and how did you find mentors? I am killing it with books (including yours) and courses but I am not at a level to be in a room with millionaires (not yet) So I don't know where and how to find a mentor that is at the level I want to be. Do you pay for it? If so doesn't that become coaching?
@Alex Hormozi why did you use 17 in the video headline? Many other educational TH-camrs use the number 17 and certain numbers to headline the video. Is there a marketing edge with it? Anything psychological? I would appreciate it if you tell me it's significance as 17 seems too specific for many people.
