@@HeadsetAdvisor If you have time, could you do a voice comparison of the new Openmeet vs Openmet either with the UC adaptor or not. Which has the better voice sound/ blocks noise best?
I work in a loud hybrid call center/home environment. How well do these fair at canceling out other nearby voices? Right now I have a stereo on year pair with ANC and the customers still complain that they can hear other voices more then my own.
We'll create a video on this soon but mainly if you don't want a headset worn over your head go with Opencomm2 is the way to go whereas Openmeet will be better used in office environments with a better noise canceling microphone, bigger speakers, USB-C charging and a red busy light letting others around you know you're on a call.
@ oh! I wanted to mentioned that I went to the Shokz website last night and they upgraded the charging port on the Opencomm2 to a USB-C. They have it titled under a 2025 upgrade. Not sure what other upgrades but that is one I noticed from the page.
I have used my OpenComm both with and without the dongle. The only difference I have noticed is with the dongle there is feedback to the application when you mute on the headset.
The mic noise rejection quality is class leading, never owned anything that rejects noise like shokz does. I take meetings and play a dnd game and the other side has never heard my two babies crying, me running the bath or arguing with a 3 year old that a bear is not a cat!!
Finaly! a headset that does not use leatherette. Its not 100percent but im guessing the foam attachment is leatherette (not sure) too bad people in Asia can't order that. Its only avail on US
Microphone sounds very similar to my opencomm2 and I bet you can do the same trick where you use earplugs when you need to block out your surroundings (or AirPods Pro in my case)! Double the battery life to the opencomm2 it looks like, and way better music listening if the air conduction is anything like the openrun pro 2 which blends the two systems like this does! I’m impressed!!
@HeadsetAdvisor Does the music sound degrade when microphone is on or when joining Teams/Zoom? Is epos 1060 the only wireless headset that doesn’t have this sound degradation?
If you have THAT much of an issue hear others, maybe there is a greater issue that needs to be addressed. (Headset 9 out of 10) (Acting -6 out of 10)🤣😂🤣👍
It’s definitely the lowest profile headphones I’ve seen, minus the portability of the opencomm of course! But that mute button, and no reminder tone like on the opencomm1, can’t beat it… well except maybe with the opencomm2 if your needing a more mobile solution
For sure, the Opencomm wins in portability. But, these seem more comfortable for long term usage. Sometimes the hook part, on top of the ear, starts to bother after some time of wearing them. And I also would assume that the audio quality would be noticeably better on these as well. But yeah, if comfort isn't an issue, then the OpenComm is probably a better purchase.

I gotta say, I haven't seen innovation like this in a LONG TIME.
Refreshing to be honest
As always, impressive mic performance from Shokz!
Definitely innovative
Bro finally.
I've been waiting for this FOREVER.
Such an incredible channel! Shout out to pops and his family legacy. Please keep going!
Thanks for the support! Much love.
Just bought it. Will arrive next week. Thanks for another great review.
Awesome! 💪💪
Excellent review, well done. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this video.
Thank you for the kind words and support!

The noise cancelation on the mic seems like the best and I've watched 40 of your videos to come to this conclusion
@@murphdoesit it’s solid
When are you guys going to do a video comparison of the Epos Impact 1061t VS the NEW EVO Tilde Pro?
Very soon, it's on our to do list.
I work in a loud hybrid call center/home environment. How well do these fair at canceling out other nearby voices? Right now I have a stereo on year pair with ANC and the customers still complain that they can hear other voices more then my own.
Shokz Openmeet vs Opencomm 2? Which do you prefer and why?

@@HeadsetAdvisor The Opencomm2 was updated with USB-C charging. Checked the site.
What's the benefit of getting the dongle vs no dongle?
If you plan to use the headset on your computer, you want the model with USB Dongle for best connectivity and audio experience.

Hopefully in the future it will be available in Asia! Thanks for watching.
I can't wait for it to be available in Indonesia. I'm in the market for this kind of headset
I wonder how it compares with the opencomm2?
In which way?

Just tested this in a zoom meeting on the computer with music playing and yes the audio switches to call mode when the mic is active.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks for checking! Would be great if they improve it in future models.

We'll need to take some acting classes. 6 is higher then we expected though 🤣
@@HeadsetAdvisor Haha, you better re-read, it is (-6) LOL
Mhmm meh. Very niche and doesn’t do one thing great. I have the open comm and I like how portable it is, this is less so.
I suspect this will be more comfortable if you also wear glasses, or if you need to wear it for extended periods.
Thanks for watching!

@@user-gp1bt4vm3r totally agree. I think the other use case in which the Openmeet will be more comfortable is when wearing glasses.
this review is painful

@HeadsetAdvisor to your credit you still caused me to buy the product. So you did well enough
