My top 3 rally car shapes must be the 1st the Lancia 037(and predecessors), then the Alpine in 2nd and last but not least the 22b in blue. All built by true Genii.

Also, that jump at the beginning. 1 year edit: I understand and accept the widening of the wheels. This one's a proper monster, it is or was great for it. No doubting that. Having seen a stock width Alpine driven with speed, I simply prefer the original look.

Maybe my memory is wrong, but AFAIK the historical A110 1300S racing weight was 650kg. Pretty impressive mod job finding both those kg's and enormous power enhancement.
I rode ZX and ZZR Kawasakis for years and I think this is a wonderful job and a real tribute to both car and bike. The slightly husky Kawasaki roar suite the car very well.
Nice skills, beautiful proto built by passionate people, good taste for putting an A110 body on it ^^. The spirit is really there superlight weight, agile and slides

The beetle is good because it has like a 15 circuit harness and plenty of room for a tube chassis, at that point I can just weld in a mustang II front end or make my own and same with the rear, I could use some thing from a wrecked side by side or make my own. All's I need here in America is a body with a VIN and working lights and safety . Then I could drive it every day if I wanted to😎
Luckily, this is not a Kawasaki swapped A110, because it would be a huge shame. On the other hand, if you are doing a space framed chassis purpose built race car, I cant imagine a much more desirable shape than the one of A110, so props to builder/driver in any case!
Shockz No, its purpose built space frame chassis which has nothing to do with the A110, and then covered with fiberglas body molded to look like an a110. From the looks of things, it seems to have an mid mounted engine aswell.
At first I thought it was a highly modified VW Bug with a tricked out Porsche engine. I bet it's a gas to drive. How does it fly? Could it handle those off road rallies where they get airborne so often?

It never was an Alpine.... Read the title and description. It's a spaceframed chassis with an A110 inspired body (i.e. it's a modern day homage to the A110, not an original chassis)
I've never heard an engine swap like this where the noise matches the car so well.. the tone fits perfectly
It's amazing how this engine was originally used to move a bike and yet can make a car even jump at the road, superbikes are insane
