I've been riding for about 20 years and I used to believe that there was no such thig as too much wind when riding a motorcycle. The other day we had very heavy winds and I took my Roadstar to do a host of errands. While in a curve a gust of wind hit me and drifted the bike to the lane next to me. When I say drift, I mean both tires sliding with no traction to my left while still moving forward. I ended up aiming towards the drift and once I regained traction, I leaned the bike into the curve again but if there was a car next to me, my story would have been different because that whole incident had me cross over to the next lane. I ended up slowing down and it seemed to make things worst. The bike fairing became like a sail which made the ride even more sketchy so I had to just muster the courage to continue on my journey at a good speed.
Did your Goldwing have ample power going through the canyons and passes out west? I love your videos Very inspirational 👏 Thanks for sharing Be safe out there
