    At 6.19 you were on your home screen and you issued the command to turn on flash light. After it was executed, why didnt your phone go back to the home screen as per your setting at 1.48?

    At 1.48 you talk about "Return to previous app" On my phone HTC 820 It states "This does not work if you are using Google now launcher" What else could i be using instead of Google Launcher?

      si myob I think that means if you initiate the voice command from inside Google Now. You can launch Google Voice Search outside of opening Google Now. For example, if you use the Okay Google voice command it launches Google Voice Search but does not open up the Google Now Launcher. Yeah, it's kinda confusing... But you know you're in Google Now because the whole app opens with the Now Cards below the search bar.

      That's odd - sounds like a bug of some type - I'd email the developer.

    don't know why but it doesn't work with my moto x device it just go to wifi without turning it off or on so I still have to use the phone

      Jeppe Widriksen Probably Moto's fault... I have a Moto Turbo and for some reasons some of the settings are different with moto (like wifi on/off, flashlight on/off, hotspot on/off). The dev for commandr would have to tweak the setting to work with Moto phones. Might want to email him. If you use Tasker, then Tasker works to turn wifi on/off on Moto and you can trigger Tasker tasks with Commandr.

    • @hollywoodfrodo
      @hollywoodfrodo  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      sorry, I'm not familiar with that command...

      hollywoodfrodo When we try to edit a command, the app show us a flash notification about this... something like use "&s" to separate the keywords of the phrase. But im new in android automation, and im having big difficults yet. If you know something about this and could help me. By the way, congratulation for your videos, theyre awesome.

      fernandoventrameli17 Hmmm... I don't have the app on my phone anymore because I use AutoVoice which does the same thing and a whole lot more. But I'm thinking maybe it's supposed to say use "&" to separate the keywords??? "&s" usually shows up when there's a symbol that isn't being read write by the system.

    I have a Galaxy S5. Any reason why Commandr doesn't show the tasks I created within Tasker? Found my own answer. I re-installed commandr and noticed a setting for access to tasker. thanks for you video

      Haha - answered the first part before reading the 2nd part. Glad you figured it out!

      You can install and use any TTS (Text to Speech) system you want. Search the app store. I recommend Cereproc voices.

    Commandr will totally screw up your phone and if you try and email them for help
    they will not reply. That tells me they know how terrible their app really is.

    • @hollywoodfrodo
      @hollywoodfrodo  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a very helpful comment.... What does "will totally screw up your phone" mean?!?! What did it do? And how did you verify that it was definitely Commandr that did it. I'm not saying it's not - just your comment doesn't really back that up - it hasn't screwed up my phone...

    • @stan7757
      @stan7757 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Locked up my phone so that it would not take my password.
      Also, would not allow me to completely turn off my phone, but rebooted when
      I tried to do so. And why would they not reply to my emails?

      Stanley G. Still not convinced Commandr is the culprit here - could be a lot of things... And there isn't a "they" - Commandr is a free app developed by one person who I believe is still in highschool and therefore probably pretty busy... But if you are over Commandr, you might try AutoVoice and Tasker - great apps and AutoVoice can intercept Google Voice commands to trigger Tasker Tasks, but you'd have to pay for these apps.

      Thanks for your feedback. Not going to argue, no need for that. Yes, I realize that a high school student developed it. But, I 'm still convinced Commandr was the culprit, as I never had a problem before that.

      I hear ya. And having your comments here, if anyone else experiences the issue hopefully, they'll see it and add their experience just in case. Anyway, definitely check out AutoVoice w/Tasker if you want the same features as Commandr - actually way more features. I'm using it now and have created some pretty awesome things!
