Hello, my name's Jen. I'm an award-winning poet and short story writer. My debut short story collection 'The Beginning of the World in the Middle of the Night' is published by Two Roads, and my children's books 'Franklin's Flying Bookshop,’ ‘Franklin and Luna Go To The Moon’ and ‘Franklin and Luna and the Book of Fairy Tales’ are published by Thames and Hudson. Yay glad your oven is fixed Jen! 🥳 we had a broken oven for a bit too at the beginning of lockdown when I was getting into baking. Our grill and hobs still worked though, so we got inventive 😅 all fixed now though.

I didn't know Powell's was the biggest book store in the world. It's hard to live in Oregon a lot of the time but we have really cool places like that.

I made a four cheese pizza in the microwave last night. It was store bought. Dessert was carrot cake with a scoop of vanilla chocolate swirl ice cream.
We put anchovies on our pizza, too!

I would also encourage people that love books to start their own channel. I wanted a new hobby so I just started a channel and it has been soooo much fun! It's been such a fun way to connect during the pandemic.

Don’t be shy with the olive oil 🙃 I usually go with 5 “rounds” for 550 grams of flour meaning I just make a circle (x5) around in the bowl with the flour with the olive oil bottle (idk if it makes sense haha) 🍕
