In this video I share some moments from my days in the cabin in the mountains. I'm here to work on some photography but a rainy day inspires me to stay inside and record a little vlog. I share about what going on in my life right now and also sad things that happened to me by my beloved river.

The fast running waterfall is as wonderful as it is scary...
There was once a woman who loved nature.
Every year she felt drawn to the mountains and the fir trees in the wild country where she lived. And so she went there to the place of her heart.
But the place she loved the most was the river in the mountains. It was not an ordinary river. It was wild and untamed and went its way free and was not in the slightest interested in the ways of human beings. The woman sat by the river every year and felt its wild heart and its wild heartbeat. And she was happy.
The years went by and the river - to its big astonishment - not only started to notice the presence of this woman, but felt some kind of happiness as well when she was there at its shore. So the river started to look forward for the visits of the woman because she made it feel loved and at peace.
But there was a downside. The woman left the place every time after a while and the river missed her. So it decided to keep something of her and one day he took a very beloved bracelet of her. So a bit of her heart and her soul would always be there. The river cherished the bracelet, and it promised the woman that the bracelet would be now a part of the eternal circle of life, from the rain to the river to the sea, upward into the clouds and back to the beginning.
It's a story of being blessed, of friendship between humans and nature, in the flow of all things.

I think losing the bracelet is actually very positive. Something incredibly special to you is now safer than ever in a place that is also incredibly special to you. A part of you will always be at that river. You could also look at it as if the river loves your company so much, it wanted at least a part of you to stay forever. 😊 Mother Nature is tough and always in control but she loves us all. Especially you Jonna!

Jonna, I know how you feel. I lost my beloved rock crystal that I had for many years. My grandmother tells me "don't cry when you lose something. Give thanks because this thing has served its purpose. Now the earth, water, air will take it and transform it into new good energy that will return to you."
Your bracelet has a piece of your soul in it, and you have a beautiful soul, so now it will become a piece of the world you love. Who knows, maybe someone will find it and it will change someone's life for the better and make that person find themselves.
Thank your mother, thank the bracelet and the river, for everything good and for all the lessons.

I don’t know why, but the first thing I felt when you spoke about losing your bracelet into the river, was that the river was preparing for losing something you really love. You talked Nanook growing old earlier in the video, and it felt so convenient.
Like it was teaching you that nothing stays ours forever, and that in time, everything will return back to nature. The art of letting go. So beautiful.
A wise friend once told me that a special item releases its medicine when it is lost or broken, and when it becomes a gift. The river and the land near the cabin are so special to you. You've made a tremendous offering to feed the spirit of that place. Trust in how the river has held you safe so many times & trust that it needed that special gift from you now. It is a blessing.

Now I am 28…so often I have tears in my eyes when you talk about things that you feel or experience, like how you talk about loosing this armcuff that means so much to you. (BTW: don’t be sad! Rivers are symbolic of flowing energy, the fact that you lost it there is a likely message to give in to the flow and allow for things to leave, even tho it can be sad and uncomfortable it’s a necessary part of life and nature. All of the memories experienced still reside within your soul, try seeing it as a lesson of letting go of the uncontrollable

When I started watching this video and the first few clips of you taking photos of your jewelry near the River, I thought, “I wonder if Jonna has ever lost a piece of jewelry there...” Then halfway through the video you share your story about that exact thing happening! I’m sorry that you lost your bracelet that means so much to you Jonna. The River is so powerful and it does feel like it was an offering it wanted from you. Best case is that you can find it when the rapids go down, and worse case, silver lasts for so long so maybe it will stay in the River for hundreds of years, in a way preserving a part of your spirit there, becoming a part of the nature there. ❤

This was a comfort to watch jonna, I know your sorrow ❤ Coming from a broken home my grandmother was the only love in my family I had ❤ She died two years ago and my whole world fell apart, as if a piece of myself died with me.
All I had left of her was the golden chain she had worn most of her life, even the moment that she died and I was so attached to it because it was all I had left of her and it felt like she was with me when I wore it.
A year ago I lost it, and I dont know how it was even possible. I just felt my neck and it was gone.
I have felt such a loss for that necklace.
Watching this healed me a little, knowing im not alone and that actually there was a meaning behind it.
Maybe it was my grandmother who took it because her soul flied away with it and thats why I never could find it again, maybe because she had other ways of being close to me.❤

I cannot express to you how much peace your videos bring me. The world is a crazy place right now. I live in the U.S. and it's election year. With the U.S. being so divided, it is nice to watch your videos and just feel peace.
It feels like the US is always about politics…….. It’s why I don’t watch news any longer, or even tv. I stick to TH-cam videos of a few people I follow, Jonna being one of my favorites.

This video really hit me. Hearing about your time in the cabin and losing that special bracelet was so touching. I’ve had similar experiences, and I totally get the feeling of losing something meaningful. Hope you find peace and inspiration!

Don't forget the work of Dr Emoto. He showed us that water retains memory. Water can be structured by intention. What our world really needs now is everything that bracelet was emotionally charged with. Love. Wonder. Gratitude. Joy. Hope. Even the sad bits.
It's now all in the water, where every waterway now contains those memories and emotions.

I made a point to drive through Grundtjärn 18 months ago while driving down through Sweden after a trip to the far north...just to see what it is that inspires you! It was summer as I would most likely die in winter, but it was beautiful, peaceful and full of the sounds of the forest! A wonderful memory and a wonderful drive! 😊

The scenery taken in this video, it gives me chills! It’s breathtaking. I had chills every time a scene of this beautiful piece of nature would come up. It made emotional knowing that this place is untouched. I live in America where so much is developed and it’s so sad.

You mentioned that you considered even asking a diver to assist you finding the bracelet so it gave me an idea that maybe magnetic fishing could also be a solution, if you really want to find the bracelet. It is a real thing where people fish treasures and trash with strong magnets tied to long ropes. This could only work if the bracelet was made from magnetic material of course, but it might be worth a try.
But also I think that the river is giving you a deeper and meaningful message and is trying to prepare you for something or just reminding you of the beauty of letting go and also the beauty of the many ways life can suprise you with ❤

@jonnajinton My son and I also love your music. It's so calming and peaceful for my son. My Husband and I wondered why our son seemed so drawn and connected to the sounds and music of yours. Then we remembered from my husband doing a DNA test from 23andMe some years ago that my husband is about 40% European, more specifically Northwestern European roots which we found is amazing and a clear explanation as to why our son loves your music. Growing up he and I both were told by our parents that we're Hawaiian and Filipino only. So to find out something like that is awesome. A connection many many miles away. We, one day hope to visit Sweden and all the other countries in that area.
In Scotland the rivers are inhabited by fae, and they are very mischievous. Maybe you have some there too. Don’t fret, even if you lost the bracelet, you still carry the memories, meaning, and power within you ❤
I think you losing your bracelet may mean that you’re starting a new chapter of your life, maybe it’s to remind you that you are whole without it and you didn’t lose a part of you. It’s still a part of you just like the river but having it in the river doesn’t make it apart from you. Jonna you may or may not believe this but at the very beginning of the video, before I knew you lost your bracelet, I said I wonder if she will ever lose anything in the river. I instantly heard in my mind, "Yes, the river wants an offering." I know it must be heartbreaking to have lost it and I would feel devastated if that happened to me as well. I believe though that all of the positive energy you have and the wisdom you have gained was needed in the river as rivers flow to different bodies of water and I believe the earth needs the positive energy that your bracelet contains. I don't know why it had to happen but this is the message that was given to me.

It happened in the moment you were expressing gratitude for all the love the river has given you over the years and as you said, the bracelet is not lost, it's embraced by the "powerful mountain waters" that you love in return. I just want to add something to what has been already said. Sometimes when you lose something, especially when it means so much to you, it can also mean that you are coming into a new chapter in your life, maybe you are coming into a place where you don't need the same support you needed when you received the bracelet, because you are stronger. Also, knowing that your bracelet is in the river you love can strengthen your connection with the river. Such a beautiful and magical place, I can see why you love it so much.
