    I've greatly enjoyed using the edelkrone sliderone pro. It has been a workhorse and I've used it hundreds of times.

    What lens do you recommend for shooting real estate?

    • @BenjaminFreddie
      @BenjaminFreddie 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nick Bee - if you’re on a budget the Rokinon 12mm 2.8 is excellent

    Great video~~ what gear do u recommend for 2021? I have a wee bills 2 gimbal + canon r6 + 16 35 f4. Thinking to buy a video tripod + slider. Any recommendations for real estate ? Just feel like the slider look is more professional than gimbal:) and I can change different lens easily on slider

    Can you make a tutorial of the transition effect you did at 2:21

      It's just a zoom effect. Justin Odisho teaches it and Cinecom offers a free transition pack that has it. You can likely also buy it from a number of creators.

    A little surprised to not see a link for it in the description. Really expensive though.

    Wow so impressed with the real estate room slides - I didn't think such a small slider would be visible without anything in the foreground. The shot towards the hanging lights really worked
    Funny thing is I'd just watched your Crane food video and actually thought this product might be a better smoother choice, so I click on your videos and there you are using a sliderone. I noticed you have a SmallHD Focus, how do you find it, are you going to do a review.

  • @AlgerieHD
    @AlgerieHD 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    the big downside is the speed on that thing u cant go faster or make a slow to fast transition slide its always the same speed but for some real estate stuff its enought i guess! great content btw :)

    What do you think of the Rhino ROV? Would you still pick this slider?

  • @marksinger5954

    I used another of their larger sliders, attracted by its collapsing, somewhat telescopic nature. but returned it after they granted me an extended 30 period. The Edelkrome support staff worked hard to help me but with no positive outcome. Their app worked was extremely unreliable, often crashed and worse still, would force to me to make firmware updates that I couldn’t bypass when I was about to shoot right there on set. Sometimes in locations where I had poor reception. I have since moved on to a non-app based motorized slider ensuring I never have to worry about my equipment failing because of iOS or firmware updates. Far less stressful, no vendor determined obsolescence and just as effective. You made some good points showing how a little movement goes a long long way.

    Such a great review. I love the SliderONE. Quick question: how do you do the transition from the wide shot to the closeup, like the full table to the corner of the table? Love that effect!

    Daniel, how you finding your sliderone+motion nowadays? You still loving it? I've had mine for about a year now and I've been tempted to sell it on many occasions. I feel like I'm always wanting a tiny bit more out of it than it can offer.

    Curious...what focal length do you find works best for those interior shots with this short slider? I am considering it for my RE work. Looks great.

    • @danielschiffer
      @danielschiffer  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment! I use a Sony Zeiss 16-70 F/4. Most shots I keep it at 16, but occasional I'll go as tight as 24 or 30 depending on the angle. I find 16 to be perfect.

    Well, i used mine ...i wasnt totally impressed. When you lock it down and have it on your tripod and then later that day you unlock and use it will do little jiggle as you slide it .. its not butter smooth. I will stabalize in post ..but just saying.

    • @danielschiffer
      @danielschiffer  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Leonardo Palacios are you referring to just the slider on its own? Or with the motion module? That's interesting, I haven't had this issue. Thanks for the comment
