Exactly what I was looking for to guide me in using my new slider. Appreciate the care you took in explaining things, and that you used an interesting subject while showing us. Thank you for letting us hear/see the whole music video too. Would have sucked if you killed it in the middle after I got hooked, lol.

Parker you are undoubtedly the slickest, most effortless and natural film maker gracing YT right now, and you're doing so without any 'fake effort', 'gimmicks', 'Bwahtsupps' etc. I've taught my daughter that to be successful in life, you must choose a vocation that you love and so work will not feel like work, but living a passion. You seem to be doing this, and it's inspiring! Now, it's my turn to take my own advice. Thanks for being f8^&%$g awesome!

Parker, have you done a walk-through of how you plan a music video? Like how you decide what kind of shot to use at what point in the song? Do you shoot the entire song multiple times or do you shoot it piecemeal with many different setups?

I used to think that gimbals can replace manual sliders.. Great music video.
Btw I saw the slider's track on some scenes (the one where you put the slider on the piano/in front of the singer) but I don't think I would've notice it if I was watching it elsewhere.

Do modern video-enabled autofocus modes (such as canon dual pixel autofocus or sony video autofocus) help a lot with the push and pull shots or enable a lot of shots that would not be possible for a 1 person film crew earlier? Great content btw. I can see where sideways sliding doesn't require tracking-af, and out of focus to in focus slides also work best with manual focus, so I can imagine that video autofocus is not something you use all the time.

Thanks for more awesome content Parker! I can't help but ask... That is a CRRRRAZY timeline near the end of your video. Is it trial and error with clips that brings you to that kind of a timeline or some kind of technique??

    Hi Parker, great review!
Have you used the new Edelkrone silder plus v2 with head plus or plus pro?

Hi Parker. Thanks again for sharing. I have 2 questions: you did filmed many times the same song. Once for every angle of course. So, how do you managed to be sure that the singer was singing at a good speed, corresponding to the final audio that you put at the end ? Did you play the song at the same time ? From a computer? From a CD ?
Question2: I am really interesting I to buying a slider. I do not know between Rhino or Ifootage. My main concern (because I will use this mainly for interviews) is about the motors noise.
Any trouble with noise ? (Obviously not a concern for a music video clip)
    Thanks
    Patrick

One thing I've never heard from Parker is why the slider shot or lateral tracking shot should or shouldn't be used. Personally, after thinking about it for a while I've never been comfortable using it because I don't know how. I don't think Parker knows how either. Of course this was a challenge to create a music video with a slider but in his other work he adds it in whenever he would normally have a static shot. I feel like Parker is a cheap Michael Bay with a DSLR. Parker doesn't distinguish when to use a shot and when not to.
