I’ve been doing yoga for maybe 20 years+ I believe that it’s all down to the yoga teachers Authenticity. Kindnesses and care go a long way. Of course it helps if students are fit and flexible but that’s not always the way.Yoga teachers have a huge responsibility to pass on yoga . My advice is to shop around until you find a teacher you can work with.coming from a long distance running background is a great advantage as I always preferred the scenic route . That’s how it’s working for me I’m still a beginner !!! The progression of yoga podcasts etc is a great window to the yoga union and yoga education .On a spiritual level if Yoga is meant for you it will find you as much as you will find it .
