Ridiculous coincidence, I was just about to pull the trigger on ~$150 of DIY moss wall supplies on Amazon for a much smaller piece, and these 2 videos are giving me so much information and perspective. Thanks!
Every time you are in your plant room, I admire the moss painting and its setting on the espresso wall. You must be so glad that it has continued to be as beautiful as it was at the beginning and should be for many years to come. I so enjoy your creativity, both inside and outside.
I’m so glad you posted this! I am planning on making one this fall using the moss from my property. I was really curious to know how they look after time. Thank you for the update!
This is such a show-stopping piece of art! That paint looked more brown when you were painting it, but turned out the perfect shade of gold. Thanks for answering questions and showing an update ❤
Such a nice video, I wanted to start a project for mossing my wall and needed some inspiration as well as how it works. This video did just that, thanks for the insight.
🤦🏼♀️ I am a fairly new subscriber and the couple of times I’ve seen that spot I thought it was a painting!!! How beautiful! And how talented you are! Have a great rest of your day. 😎✌🏻
I’ve loved this piece since the first time you showed it, since I’ve loved moss since childhood and green is my favorite color too. Against the dark wall, it’s simply stunning. What holds me back from this sort of decor is the cleaning aspect…my house is very dusty because we don’t have central air filtration-the dust collects by the second it seems. How do you keep this piece looking so fresh?
@@SoilandMargaritas right, that’s what I’m asking…what do you use to dust it? How often do you find you need to clean it? I feel like it would be piled with dust in my house and I’m wondering if it’s worth it.
Looks amazing! Bet that felt good to create. Do you know many hours did it take to build this? Including time spent researching, shopping, and planning.
Do you get fungus gnats living in this art? I had something similar before and had to get rid of it because of fungus gnats. Even I do not water it, I have a humidifier in the room for houseplants in winter and fungus gnats thrived in the moss.
I thought it was real too , it took me like half way in to figure out, it's preserved or dried out, so you don't want it moist , I would like to do the live one, but will start out with one of these
@@SoilandMargaritas fair enough 😆😂 I was hoping the weigh was described on the package. Thanks for the quick reply, this is one of the best moss panels I've ever seen.

Thank you! I wasn't sure how well it was going to "age" but I am very happy!
@@SoilandMargaritas you did an amazing job. Where did you purchase the frame? Thank you
9:40 you holding it like this, makes it look like a 3D view of a park from above ❤
Love it 🌳
Thank you!

Thank you so much for showing this a year later! I was always worried about spending all this money and time creating this and it not lasting ♥️
This moss art piece is stunningly beautiful! Your presentation was simple, clear and SO helpful! Thank you
I love, love, love this! It is still on my to craft list! I don’t blame you. It is perfection!
Yay! Thank you!
The first time you showed this piece, I was totally taken in by its beauty.
Definitely going to try my hand at this project.
You really knocked this out of the park. You answered all my questions too. So glad I found your channel.
Welcome!

I love this. It turned out great. I love that pillow moss. It makes the best wreaths too. Great job Roxana!
Thank you!

Absolutely love this piece!!! I am going to do one this winter (smaller scale) with an antique frame I have for my office, wish me luck lol 😊
You got this!
This is so gorgeous. I'm always shocked hoe expensive moss iscto buy. Im loving for some live moss for my terrarium.
Love 💕 it , the whole area looks great , you did a beautiful job
It is beautiful, Roxana. Great job!

I absolutely love it 🥰
Thank you! 🤗
Well done.
Thank you so much!
Great info I appreciate you
can't believe it's been a year!
Right!?! I know the feeling!
A very nice looking, yet very expensive 'dust trap'.....everyone thinks about building something, rarely of the care and maintenance.
Thank you for your comment!

As I mentioned, I only try to keep it dust free but other than that, this piece is amazing on its own.

I don’t! Check the first video in the description! It probably took me a good 3-4 hrs putting it together.

I don't have problems with fungus gnats thankfully.
You did such a good job. Do you have a favorite glue gun?
I use Dewalt's and get the thicker glue tubes, that thing gets hot AND stays hot.
@@SoilandMargaritas I forgot to ask. Do you use the electric or the cordless-- needing the battery to charge it?
@@sandrakay8540 I use the electric
I see a lot of drying. How can that be prevented?
🤷🏻♀️I don’t know, this is my first piece ever, I don’t mind it.

How much moss did it take? Like in pounds?
I have zero clue! I never weighted the moss.
@@SoilandMargaritas fair enough 😆😂 I was hoping the weigh was described on the package.

Check the link for the main video when I put it together, you can see how much I used.
Quite creative, but not for me. I would always wonder if spiders were hiding in there. And dusting it.
