I used to work with silk florals back in the 90's and there was a preserved reindeer moss product that was so soft it was a dream to work with. Seeing today's video I can almost smell the product. Exciting! And your design...it flows, it has interest, it's dimension, and you nailed it, mija!!!!
Very pretty. Looks like an ariel view of a forest. Lovely piece & well worth it! Thx you for sharing.
Love it! Got me thinking of one with fern fronds dried even the curls. You have a very artistic style. I'm here for it.
Nooo, It`s beautiful and natural colour!!!!!
Great idea and project Roxanna. It looks fabulous!! I love your choices of moss and colors and placement. Almost looks like you are in the sky looking down on top of trees in the landscape. 🥰
Waww by far the best moss picture I have watched being made im so tempted to try and make
Beautiful and Spectacular work created by you...
Beyond words...
This was my first video I’ve seen from you. You are super at sharing all of the steps you took and the materials. It turned out perfect. I’m gonna make one this summer! Thank you for the inspiration!
😍😍😍Oh, my goodness! How beautiful! That’s a great price for an original piece of art I LOVE it!!! Now I want one…🤔
O wow! It’s gorgeous with all the texture and tones. When you placed it on the wall it really pops. Beautiful creation! 😍
Thank you so much 🤗
Turned out super nice! Love the frame color and substantial size!
Thank you!
This video was great, informative, good music, perfect length. I hope you keep it up!
Glad you liked it!
I just started mine instead of buying it! i did the frame for now and im so excited! you have a nice composition/variation, good depth and nice contrast!!! it look so natural! thanx for your help! :D
Amazing! My first thought when you held it up was that it was an arial drone view of a big area with alot of trees!
This piece is beautiful, Roxanna. You are so creative. And what a lovely addition to the blank wall space. I agree that the paint could be adjusted to better reflect the moss painting…perhaps a little darker and richer green.
Thank you ♥ this is what I was looking for. Need to see your more videos more often
I had never seen a moss wall piece before. Your creation is beautiful. Seems to me the price of your materials was quite reasonable for the large piece of art you created. Home depot has hundreds of color samples (paint) you could explore if you don't learn to like what you have. Great job again!
Absolutely gorgeous! You SHOULD be pleased with your work. 😁
I've never seen this before. So interesting!!!
Wow! This is the first time I’ve seen this kind of art. I want to make one now!
Definitely my favorite tutorial thus far!
Wow, am in love with the art. Am inspired, thank for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
Omg love love love this! I am inspired to make an overhead "view " of my house and small suburban garden.
Moss print the wall paint ■ I would work that green paint with another color, perhaps the brown from the frame; if it works, I suggest getting some moss and use it like a sponge, then the wall will not have a solid accent but a textured. Do not forget to sign the moss work, perhaps the frame would be a good place. Great work!
New hobby unlocked, so beautiful 😍
This is a statement piece - you did a great job and really have an artistic eye. I know the pillow moss is expensive, but you def needed the highs and lows of it. The green paint had too much blue in it, but I love the dark color you have done since.
Thank you so much!
So beautiful. Looking down on it from above it looks like a mountain landscape. Great Job! Always look forward to seeing your videos. 💚
What a gifted eye you have! Absolutely Beautiful ❤
Absolutely beautiful
45°, that's fine tropic temp over there. Cool you still wear long sleeves.
45F and I am freezing :)
Just gorgeous!!! Wow!
Beautiful work can’t believe you never done that before bravo❤
Thank you! 😊
You did an amazing job. That is beautiful 😍
So beautiful! I think I’m going to give this project a try sometime soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
Glad you found it! It was super easy!
I love how this project turned out!
Thank you Sandra!
Awesome, you are so talented! 👍
It is beautiful I love the green
What a fun project 😃 it looks beautiful Roxana 🥰
Wow that is just stunning.
I am finally watching this after admiring your artwork for a while. It reminds me of an arial view of a forest.
I love it❣️
The materials price is not outrageous. I've been looking for still life prints that I'd still have to frame and this is far less.
Since mine will be in my dining room, I might try adding dried mushrooms to the moss sculpture. Maybe not. 🤔
It is definitely doable for the price, I checked some finished pieces on etsy around this size and the prices are quite high, people get tree branches, fern leaves, rock or other interesting textures to add to it.

Yes. I've been looking for ideas on Pinterest since you mentioned you saw many videos on making this. I have reserved branches I'd planned to use in a similar wall hanging. Since the moss is so pretty (green IS my favorite color, too) I can incorporate the two.
I have so many creative ideas swirling in my head. I've been working on plans to overhaul my front yard, but it's buried under lots of snow. (Just found a tree I'm obsessing over. Krauter Vesuvius cherry plum tree.) Come on, Spring!
The green on the wall is taking away from your project, which btw turned out beautiful 😍
Yes! Thank you!
You have inspired me.🎉 Love doing puzzles when I was young. Going to use a smaller size until I got the hang of it.
It’s gorgeous ! And I love this green! It’s really growing on me!
SO glad I found this video! I'm wanting to re-do our bedroom and I want it to feel like a cool grotto with ferns and moss growing on the walls. (Just a bit fanciful I'd say.!) Yours looks very doable. Do you know if anyone has tries it with living moss? I know that is a poor idea for me, our humidity is usually below 20%. Love the way you teach, and I'm headed for the after one year video.
I have seen something done with real moss but as a centerpiece, but I would be worry about pests living there like fungus gnats or flies.
Also, leave it up to me and the moss would completely died 😩
Beautiful work, Roxana! 🥰💚
Absolutely Stunning 😍
It really is! Thank you!
That looks incredible
Очень красиво ❤
Вы умница 👍
Beautiful! Love the texture and dimension to the wall with paint too!! 🤩 Stunning!
This is gorgeous!!
I LOVE it! I'm so inspired to make one myself! Thank you for showing us the process.
That is absolutely beautiful. I want to create one of these now.
You should!
Absolutely love that project.
How did you hang? Could you please guide in terms nails or hooks that you use to hang the piece. Btw, i loved the art!!
Love this. Now I need to think of where to put one I make...
this was so satisfying to watch. lm motivated to try it
Good luck!
Saw moss in title and the large frame of moss and had to watch. Love moss, love green, love nature. Love that this wall art lets you create and play around. It's so beautiful.
I was thinking of adding the moss to a succulent wall art, but dried moss will get wet when I water the succulents. Will that be ok? I know they sell live moss. Should I use that instead?
thats absolutely beautiful. Such a shame it's hard to find one good type of moss to buy in Brazil let alone this much. This is amazing!
I love it! Such a beautiful piece of art! Huge well done xx
That looks absolutely amazing!
amazing job. thanks for sharing. will try.
Wow it’s soooo beautiful 💗
It really is! Thank you!
It turned out beautifully! 🎉
Awesome! I might have to try,
It's stunning, my first thought is how will you dust/clean it?
My thoughts exactly! 🤔
That’s always my first thought with decor items 🙈 because my house is super dusty
Stunning
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Wow look's great 👍🏻
Thank you 👍
I'm assuming you didn't need to spray the finished project to keep it all in place. Outstanding!
Thank you. I would like to know how your husband made the wood frame.
Gorgeous! ❤
Great job!
fantastic!!
Hi, I'm seeing this 1 year later and will be making one too. You did superbly well. How is it holding up?
I actually did a one year review… search it and hopefully it comes easy
Oh I think this turned out so beautiful, and not that expensive for a large individual piece of artwork. I have never seen these before and you did a fabulous job. One question I have is will the colours fade over time, or are they preserved to stay the same? It’s beautiful 🤩
I think it will be a while before they look dried, the moss is already preserved so it will not fade easily.
I would definitely like to do this but doubt that will the board get mouldy in that upon moist environment
The moss I used was preserved moss, so no moist whatsoever, think of this piece as a dry-flower piece, I don't water it... it is supposed to be a maintenance free item, I just gently dust it here and there.
Thanks for the video, it’s beautiful ❤
Thank you very nice 😍
Beautiful; is it just a regular picture frame ?
Impressive!
Hermoso!!! Now I want to do one!
Go for it!
Love this idea! I’ll be doing something similar to this during the winter!
this looks amazing. well done ;)
Nice job! Love it ! But wall color not working for me?
Very Impressive
Beautiful. How does it stick to the board?
@@Ginax111 watch the video
oh i LOVE how you painted the green accent where you hung the piece up!! has the piece held up well? does it get really mossy/messy even while it hangs over time?
The moss is doing really well, I hardly have to do anything to it, other than a very light and gentle dusting!
Hey loved the work & design - Just wondering how it's looking now, has it faded much?
Do you need to do anything to maintain it - or are you expecting a good few years out of it yet?
I answered ALL those questions in a recent video I did this month for an update th-cam.com/video/UK5x_zrnMak/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Pqklqt8p70HfW0i2
How did this hold up?
LOVE!
Do you happen to have the approxmate box count you used? I’m doing this project but going for 4x6 size and will need to double most likely! Thanks!
I don’t! I did it a couple of years ago now
I'm in the process of making a preserved moss frame and I'm looking on Amazon for different colours of moss and boy are they are expensive.
Yes, the pillow moss is so darn expensive but beautiful looking!
Very nice.....
Thank you!
Amazing! It came out so good! Cant wait to try this ❤ where did you share the links? Cant find them
In the description of the video :)
This is the first time I ever saw this done and love it! I don’t know if I missed it but does it have to be watered or dampened in any way to keep its color?
NO, it is preserved moss so other than dusting it with a very soft brush no other maintenance needed from what I read.
AWESOME!
Is it necessary water it? What happens in summer when it is hot?
I don't water it and I haven't gone a summer with it.
Does it shed? How do you prevent shedding?
I haven't notice that.
Where did you get the frame from? Great job btw!!
I talked about it at the beginning the video (my husband built it) I also added pictures from the materials used to build such frame (Home Depot) and I even added type of materials and measurements.
Where is this company near?
