  • I paid a visit to Rebecca Bullene of ‪@Greenerynyc‬ to go over some of the best systems for green walls and vertical gardens. Now that we're considering a new living wall system indoors ‪@FlockFingerLakes‬ , I'll be weighing all the options on the market.

I made a living wall with perch Magnetic Modular System in my kitchen, which is original for the office supplies organization. No drainage hole, no extra growing lights, no extra care, after six years the only plant lives very well is pothos😜. They keep a clean look just like at the beginning, I just need give them a "haircut" sometimes.

Check out the POD Living Wall system - it's similar to the tray system but separates the irrigation from the leaves and soil spill, which is one challenge with the open tray system she was speaking about. When you angle a plant a small amount of the top soil often will slide out which ends up in the irrigation water and over time is messy and a place for pests to live. I've used both and definitely prefer the PODS when maintaining the walls

    Beautiful green wall

  • @cefcat5733

It's getting quite challenging, with the problems high humidity can cause. Maybe just put tribble-like air plants all over.

Years ago The Phoenix Botanical Garden displayed a living succulent wall! Stunning!

Thank you for making all of this information accessible to us. i appreciate you so much!

  • @Tinyhousegardener

These living walls take my breath away. My dream is to have a living wall someday but I have nightmares about spider mites and pest management

  • @earthzeroapothecary

This is probably my most favorite video you've ever posted!! I'm absolutely smitten with living walls and would love to have one in my home. The closest I'll get, though, is a wooden letter that I glued preserved mosses on. Buahahahaha! I've sprayed it, occasionally, just to breathe in the joy of the experience of an actual living wall. Hahahahaha!

I work in a school with green wall space but no one to foster the space. Lots of ideas after watching. Thank you!

I wish this video is longer.

  • @Yambataller

I’m planning on making a green wall with pon in a big planter at the bottom and cord going up and down within the moss. Will isolate the structure with landscape fabric and probably spray a mix of vinegar and tea tree oil behind it just to make sure there are no fungal issues. Fingers crossed!

This is great but what about bugs 🐛 and insects 🐜

  • @Alwaysherethere

I can't wait to see the one you do at flock!🌻🌱

  • @simeonarends

I love the video. I just find that a lot of information is given but not I'm still not seeing the products used for those systems. I.e the trays that Rebecca removes those little plants from, I'm not sure exactly how that's looking, is it possible for you to perhaps assist in giving me an idea on that.
