@@willyourpowerbykaro Hi. Actually, it's not wood but tree bark. Using wood you find somewhere is nice, but it's not suitable for working with resin. Wood must be dry to work with resin. Dried. When the wood is wet, it will crack and deform later, and will release a lot of air bubbles. You need to look for dry wood with a moisture content of 8 to 12%. You need to look for vacuum-dried wood at auctions in your country. You can also use polymer clay instead of wood and paint it later. It all depends on your imagination ;)

Are thae waves just white paint or are you cutting into the resin? About How many hours was on this piece? Amazing
HEY. The waves are made of white dye and resin.
Before the white dye, I add a layer of clear resin so that it does not mix with the blue color. You can see it on video. That's about 3 days, a few hours a day.
The ocean is made of several layers of resin and each layer dries in about 24 hours.
I want to attempt this so bad. Sourcing the supplies now. You gotta get some affiliate links. Get some money out of all this.

I use epoxy resin with a transparent dye.
For the effect of waves resin with White dye. As shown in the video ;)
I didn't buy bark. I collected it once in the forest and dried it :)

Hi. This wood is from my private collection. I found it once and it sat there waiting for me for a few years:) This is tree bark
